Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"Yuki-Oona?" Hollowpaw stuck his head into the medium's den and barely sniffled a sneeze. His body jerked and he put his muzzle against his shoulder, smearing red blood against his creamy white fur and spilling a few drops on he den's ground while he did so, "Damn it, I thought it was done bleeding..."
The wound was from a training incident. Ryoma was losing the fight and struck out at him with unsheathed claws, doing a real number to Hollowpaw's nose. The scratches weren't so deep but the pressure from being struck there sent blood streaming out of his nose and all down his chest. To a kit he may even look like his throat had been slit. He was starting to feel light-headed and, as much as he'd rather just let this resolve on its own, Constantine had been explicit about getting the wounds treated. So, here he was, a gorey mess, doing exactly as he had been told.

( ;~; rip also i've been here the whole time, don't question it )
Yuki was organizing her herbs, making sure she had a decent stock of everything after using some in her training with Mistyrose, when Hollowpaw came in. Pulling herself out of her pile, she bumped her head against the top of the cavern. But, like grace itself, she didn't even acknowledge the pain and was quickly to Hollowpaw's side. "Had a bad training session, huh? Come in, come in." Her tone was a little stiff, but she ushered him in towards the bed with a swish of her feathery tail. The moonlight filtering in lit up the pair of white cats, and when you realized it, Yuki was gone and back to her things. The texture of the bark was rough and uncomfortable in her mouth, somewhat nauseating as she kept it in while grabbing a small bundle of cobweb. "This isn't just a nosebleed right? Not eyeing some pretty thing out there, are you?" She asked teasingly as she walked back over to him.
Hollowpaw blushed, no he wasn't eyeing anyone, but the idea of being called out like that by a pretty she-cat like Yuki made him self conscious. See, this was one of the reasons why he didn't want to come and get treatment after all, "Uh, yeah, it really was a training accident." He said simply, not really wanting to give away more than that. It had been really stupid and immature on pretty boy Ryoma's behalf and he just wanted to forgive about it, "How do you even treat one of these? You're not going to shove a stick up my nose or anything are you?"

A faint smile was traced on the white Medium's features. She took that as a no. But she didn't push him any further, spreading out the alder tree bark mix on the cobwebs before looking back up. "I need you to tilt your head back as far as you can without tipping over. You're gonna breathe in and out through your mouth." She explained gently, coaxing despite its usual edge of royalty.
Alright," Hollowpaw obliged, lifting his head vertical to the ground. His head felt oddly heavy in this position, it wasn't all that natural to begin with but surely there was some sort of clot in his nose, which threw off is balance ever so slightly. He shifted his paws as to keep from falling over and maybe would have if Yuki had not warned him ahead of time. The Siamese tom then opened his mouth to breath as instructed and felt warm blood from his nose seem down his throat. The coppery taste in his mouth was unnerving but to be expected, "So how long do I need to do this?"

Yuki wrapped the cobwebs around any other little injuries she managed to spot. Not that Hollowpaw was very hurt, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Plus, right now, she wasn't sure how to treat his bloody nose other than to get him to tilt his head back until the bleeding stopped. She sat behind him gently, keeping him steady so he wouldn't fall over. "Just for a minute." She purred, sitting there for a moment before standing up. "Okay, now lean forward slightly." If he wasn't paying attention, he might not have felt Yuki slip away and suddenly appear before him.
Hollowpaw leaned forward as directed and nearly jumped out of his fur when he saw Yuki suddenly appear before him like some ghost. He lifted his head back up before he could gasp otherwise he would have surely sprayed blood all over her pretty white fur. He felt a blockage in his nose break free and gulped a few times as a clot of blood seeped down his throat. After that he was able to breath much clearer even though he technically wasn't supposed to be using his nose right now, oops.
"At least, I don't know, shuffle your paws a little bit or something when you are moving around!" Hollowpaw said as he lowered his head down once more, but his voice wasn't harsh and he had a ghost of a smile on his face. He was suddenly very dizzy and swayed a little bit before he crouched down to anchor himself a little bit better, "On the bright side, I think it's done bleeding... "

Yuki immediately jumped, a not very princess-like move. Oh god. Curse these old habits that she could never outgrow. She found a hollow shell thrown in with a bunch of rocks and nick nacks and quickly filled it with water before placing it in front of Hollowpaw. "I'm so sorry, Hollowpaw." It was still a little stiff, but Yuki was always like that. And her blue eyes shone with regret. This time she was more pronounced, scraping the moss next to him before sitting and gently stroking his back with her tail. "That's good, but hold still. Let yourself relax" It might not have been good for Hollowpaw to drink all that blood, but at least he wasn't choking on it. So, a small victory.
Hollowpaw's ears flicked back and, if she could see past the dark fur on his face, he was definitely blushing. He adverted his gaze away from Yuki-Oona and focused on the shell, "No, I'm sorry, I'm a little jumpy." He replied then slowly bent over to take a drink. To be honest he did not drink from water that wasn't running. He didn't know why, it was just an instinct that he had always had, but he pushed past that insecurity and did it for Yuki. The water was surprisingly cool but had a haunting, stagnant flavor that for the moment he convinced himself was some sort of medicine even though he knew better. When he lifted his head up he was suddenly very aware that his usual snowy white chest had been dyed crimson with his own blood so he gave himself a few hurried strokes in a failed attempt to clean up, "I think it's all done bleeding, Yuki. Thank you."

She was gonna get it from Mistyrose later, she knew. Even with what Hollowpaw said, Yuki knew she was a long ways away from being the Medium Moonclan needed. But when he went to lick his chest, she grabbed some of the wad of cobwebs she made and soaked them in the water that Hollow just drank from. "You've swallowed enough blood for a lifetime. Here." Wringing them out, she rubbed the webs on Hollow's stained chest. Her own white paws were dyed pink as she cleaned him up. It was the least she could do. Any light spots left were groomed away with a quick lick or two, either completely knowing or not of the blush on his face. Yuki wasn't sure which, but at least Hollow wouldn't leave looking worse than when he came in. A part of her wanted to apologize again, but it was quelled the more she worked. "You're welcome. Let's not make this a reoccurring thing, though okay?"
