Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Spot A thread for the young love that is eventually going to turn bad. Our future divorcess will meet in this thread. <3
Mintkit was a small little thing, made smaller by her constant hunching in on herself. She looked vulnerable with her soft green eyes, so perfectly round and wide. The type of kit that flinched at loud voices and apologized immediately when someone seemed mad at her or she felt she had done something wrong. Though that was not to say she was not constantly apologizing even if there was no need for it, so afraid of upsetting others, of angering them.
It should not come as a surprise then, to find her huddled just outside the nursery trying to be as small as possible. Trying to seem as unobtrusive as possible, wanting to stay out of the way but still trying to be outside in camp. To force herself past her fears of the dark, of bigger cats, of rambunctious kits, to hover just outside the nursery.
Driftingkit had come to Nightclan earlier than his mother, Burningstar, had intended. She was pregnant when she was leader of Nightclan but on her way back from Primal Instincr to free Foxstar, she had gone into labor and had to take refuge with Sunclan. She had planned to return but she had fallen in love with Sunclan and chose to stay. When she had her kits, she didnt leave out any detail about their blood and heritage. After careful contemplating, Driftingkit had decided that he did not want to be part of Sunclan. He always felt out of place there and thought he would be better off in Nightclan. To his mother's surprise and his, Flamingstar had agreed to let him stay. Flamingstar may be rough around the edges but she always had a soft spot for kits. Perhaps it was convenient that he chose to leave now instead of waiting until he was apprenticenticed or became a warrior.
He was a rather shy and timid tom - never having any friends. He chose to keep to himself, mostly, but it was quite a lonely life to live. Driftingkit found himself exploring the cavern which was unlike him but he had to admit that he felt more comfortable in Nightclan than he ever did in Sunclan. After sticking his nose into places only to be showed away, he thought that most probably still didnt trust him and figured he would go back to the nursery. On his way back, that was when his eyes locked onto Mintkit. His jaw gaped slightly as he realized that Mintkit was the most beautiful kit he had ever laid eyes on and there she was, lonely, just like him. Shaking his head to clear it, he made his way over to her. His ears and tail were lowered to keep from looking intimidating since he was a rather tall kitten. "H-hello" he greeted in a stammer. He was super nervous. He had never attempted to speak to such a beautiful kit before. What if she wasnt interested? He suppose the worst thing she could do was tell him to get lost.
