Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The flower meadow wasn't at it's peak, not nearly close. However, it was starting to come to life as the warmer days grew closer. Roseshade was spending her time warming her darker torti pelt under the sun, purring in contentment at they way it seemed to radiate happiness through her being. She hoped that this peace lasted forever, that there would be nothing to spoil her mood as it was now. The birds chirped all around her, filling her ears with their beautiful songs.
There was a rich smell of earth all around Jackalfang as his dirty brown paws kicked back freshly dug dirty on top of his most recent kill, a small, but plump rabbit. That was his third catch in the last hour, but he could feel his toned body quietly begging for a break. This last rabbit sent him on a rather tedious chase through the woods, one that ranged longer than even the warrior had anticipated. Had he not already caught two other prey, he would have ignored the whining of his body, but knowing he had done some pretty good work in a short time gave him the peace of mind that a small break wouldn't be so bad.
The brown tabby gave his pelt one good shake, to remove the remnants of dust and dirty before trekking forward. The flower meadows were just near by and was the perfect place to scout for potential kills and a nice break. Jackalfang's hazel gaze grazed across the land before him. Though the fields had yet to explode in it's usual array of colors, it was still a pretty and calming sight. Jackalfang sighed softly to himself as he slowly sat back on his haunches, silently taking in the sights and smells. It was a much needed break, more than the warrior realized. He couldn't recall the last time he took some time to just... sit in quiet peace.
In his casual surveying, his eyes caught the sight of a speckled coat. The peace of the moment was lost at the realization and the tom quickly rose to his four paws. His gaze turned stern with deep concentration as he watched the body that laid in the distance. He wasn't sure if it was the distance or his mind playing tricks, but he could not note movement from the body. His heart raced hard against his chest as he watched a moment longer before pushing forward, dashing through the blossoming flowers until he came upon the familiar dark, tortoiseshell pelt.
"Oh!" He gasped outloud in surprise, blinking slowly before the name finally came forward in his mind "Roseshade." He meowed outloud before looking away in a small moment of embarassment "I'm sorry if I scared you, I didn't recognize you for a moment."
