Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Beedust had been sneaking out of camp more often than she was supposed to. At her stage of pregnancy she could only waddle at a meandering pace, but it was still worth the fresh air and the chance to walk among the flowers. Besides, it was a relatively safe territory, and she would soon be bedridden with a litter of kits. She would miss this, until she was able to get out here again.
At the moment, she was seated near the border, watching a few birds chase each other through the branches. In an earlier time she would have savored climbing the trees and pouncing on a bird. But for now, she sat and watched, her pale honey eyes flitting among the sunlight soaked branches.
Glowstar sashayed into the groves of rainbow colored flowers. She was like a walking wildfire, cinnamon auburn waves of fur seemed to flicker like a flame in the sunlight and her reddish bombshell shades shimmered like beach shores. For her flowers were just as tempting as a pile of leaves and when she felt the plush soft petals she rolled her whole body onto them until she lied on her back. The clouds passed by like cars on thunderpath, the winds were faster and the skies were greyer. Poor day for a hike, but she was too far now to just head home. Sometime later she must have drifted off and awoke to see a she-cat seated by the border, only two fox lengths away. For a moment she lied there, wondering how she hadn't noticed her until realizing that the flowers were tall enough to not just hide her, but devour her scent. by how low to the ground was. She would have to remember that the next time she needed to trash a body.
"Hey, what's up?" Glowstar asked from the ground, but still didn't get up. All she offered the she-cat was a wave of her paw.
Beedust flinched, startled by the sudden noise and the seemingly abrupt appearance of this new cat. Her amber gaze focused on the she-cat, keeping herself calm. If this newcomer wanted to attack a pregnant she-cat via ambush, she would have done so already, so the threat seemed minimal. "Hello," she ventured cautiously, her tail tip flicking in response to the paw wave. The only scents that Beedust was familiar with were Springclan, Moonclan, and a variety of rogue scents, so even if she could have scented Glowstar she would have been unable to place the scent. As harmless as the she-cat seemed at the moment, Beedust still felt uneasy, alone and physically limited as she was.
"Heyyy," Glowstar said cheerfully, but otherwise made no attempts to move to greet the she-cats, "Are you new here too? I just came by and fell in love with the intoxicating allergy atmosphere. Of course I bare the gift of no allergies so it's fine," She reasoned. For a moment it looked like the leader was going to stand up, but instead she rolled over to face the feline, "Which is why I ask, are you new?"
She was lying on her back now, her stomach, neck, every vulnerable part of her exposed, but she lied there as lazy as a kittypet with either utter trust in Beedust or her ability to take her or anyone else on if she had to. Stretching briefly she batted at the tall stalk of flowers next to her, this place was pretty.
