Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
We’re gathered here today to paint some eggs! Well stones, but same thing. All cats are invited to paint stones and then select cats we’ll be in charge of hiding them for the rest to find. If you’d like your cat to be a hiding please tell Wintrystar. We need about 5-7 cats for it. PhantomlostneverstarstarCleaverConsuelaSpotFaithpLutowicca|Moonstrawberrycupid @ian
Wintrystar looked at the large pile of round stones they’d compiled for this very day. It’d taken two weeks to find enough rocks and whatever ones were used would be stored for next year. Sitting besides the pile she helped pass out rocks to all who came up to get one to paint. The paint had been created by the Witch and Pupil out of a mixture of flowers, herbs, and other plants. With a range of colors spread out around the center of camp, it was a free for all. Really, she was waiting for the argument that was sure to come over a certain color or two.
There were two other cats sitting with her to help pass out.

Earlybloom had found leaves, shells, bark, anything to store the paint in. Her and Chestnutpaw had worked for days to get the pigments right. Now she was carefully stirring the paint one more time before the event started, assisted by her loyal pupil. The lavender colored paint splashed a little on her fur and she looked down at her rainbow-splattered fur. Today would surely prove to be colorful.
When you join a clan at the top of a mountain where warriors fight against the odds and build lives among snow and ice and killer predators he figured his first task would be... Deadly. But when he found out he was going to paint rocks that was all the better for him. Snowbunny had previously been Cadet Zion, a prisoner in WinterClan so it was an awkward shift to move to a festival, with the cats that kept him in isolation for a moon, but also a normalcy he was happy to shift to. Snowbunny padded up to Wintrystar, feeling small in her presence and likely wasn't off. He had grown into his full height while in prison and it still didn't measure up to the beastly tall images of most WinterClan cats. He wasn't horribly small, but was a Regime cat where their kind were typically bred to fit and move through cramped narrow tunnels with ease.
"Hey, would I be able to paint and hide some of the rocks?" Snowbunny asked Wintrystar.
Chestnutpaw mimicked her mentor as she too, stirred the paint filled barks and shells to ensure the colors were ready for painting. Excitement was evident in the small pupil's body language as she danced lightly on her paws, her pale green eyes wide and bright as she took note of each, individual bright colors. The sight made her swoon with delight. There was always something so attractive about bright colors to the young she-cat, she it was to no surprise that she was far too distracted to notice the patching of paint that stained her chest as she moved from holder to holder, taking in the colors in quiet awe.
The first cat approached the line of paint, bringing the pupil's eyes up to meet the sight of Snowbunny, an ex-regime cat who had recently earned his way into Winterclan's good graces. Her natural zest for life was only amplified by the excitement of the event and before Wintrystar could respond, the pupil spoke up quickly "Of course you can!" Chestnutpaw meowed with delight, glancing up at her mentor for a moment before jumping over the paint and to the tom's side "We've got plenty of colors to pick from!" She began to explain at a rather fast pace "You see this color?" The pupil pointed out to a rather vibrant blue "We made this out of Juniper Berries!" She explained proudly. "We normally use Juniper berries for stomach aches, but they were perfect for making blue dye!"
Wintrystar nodded to their newest warrior. No words left her lips as Chestnutpaw beat her to it. She pushed a small pile towards him, he wouldn't be required to paint all of them but he could take as many as he wanted from that pile. The leader watched in joy as cats began to make their way closer to collect their own rocks to decorate. Frigidpaw was one of them. The student collected his rocks and hurried away to begin painting them. He had so many ideas. Maybe stripes or flowers or snowflakes. Soon he was done with his first rock. one covered in patches of color, just like his fur which wore just as much paint as he'd used.

Earlybloom let Chestnutpaw explain the paints, watching the pride and excitement in her pupil's gaze with affection in her own eyes, noting that she too was spattered with many colors. The two she-cats had worked hard on this project and they'd both seemed to enjoy a task that didn't actually require medical knowledge. They'd spent a great amount of time mixing colors and trying out different techniques, the two cats had finally been satified with the paint in just enough time to present them to the clan. She knew that Chestnutpaw must be ready to burst with pride.
