Cadet Liam felt the weight on his shoulders as he searched through the herbs for comfrey. None of his mixtures were working for this new headache he had developed. He was one of many of his siblings that was always stuck sick. He had been searching for a cure for so long, he couldn't even remember what all he had tried. The guider cadet let out a sigh and turned away from the herbs to give his eyes a rest.

"What are you looking for?" Larus, like Liam, was always sick. Funny, that though they were brothers, both Guider Cadets, neither of them seemed to talk all that much. Not that it helped that Larus tended to squirrel himself away from everyone and everything, fearing the eventuality that he might die or they might leave him. Despite the Regime being low on prey, the Cadet was still plump, and he'd already gotten yelled at a few times for sneaking prey when he'd already had his share for the day. Though they rarely talked, it was hard to ignore when his own brother was searching for something, and eventually the tom found himself next to his littermate, albeit begrudgingly.
