Lobsterkit shyly stepped out of the Nursery, hoping that someone would notice him and take pity. He put on his best sad face, which wasn't hard because he was always sad. His tail trailed the ground as he slowly trudged across their temporary camp to a clearing that looked big enough to play in.
Sliprabbit was lazing in a sunny patch of grass nearby when she heard she sound of soft pawsteps approaching from behind her. Lifting her head slightly off of the ground to look, the young warrior smiled brightly at the sight of Lobsterkit, and rolled over to properly face him. "Hey buddy!," She purred, calling out to the little kit. "Wanna come hang out with me? It's pretty warm and comfy-cozy over here~!"

The small tom's eyes lit up as someone nibbled the bait. He blinked over at Sliprabbit with a hopeful smile. "You mean it? I won't be a bother? I've been told that I can be too...gloomy." He admitted shyly. It wasn't a complete lie. He was a little rain cloud most of the time.
"Of course I mean it!" Sliprabbit chirped, her cheerful grin mellowing out into a soft, understanding smile. "It's okay to feel down sometimes, you know. Uncle Chim is gloomy a lot too, but that's never stopped me from spending time with him, honestly I think he secretly appreciates the company." The she-cat giggled to herself before patting a soft patch of grass beside her with her paw. "Come on, I don't bite!"
