Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down!" He laughed as he knocked over the pile of icy rocks he had stacked, sending them tumbling over the edge and into the river below. The cold of the still lingering winter bit at his skin, but the chill was negligible compared to what it had been only a few moons ago; and as such was easily tolerable for the tom who was making himself at home on the ridge that loomed over the river. Under the surface of his very spot sat the headquarters, so it was almost like he was present while still avoiding the hustle and bustle by being above ground.
In truth there was no true reason for him to be avoiding anyone, and normally he thrived in social interaction. But he had wanted to wander and see if any flowers were blooming yet, as he found spring to be one of the most refreshing seasons. Something about new life gave him a pleasant tingle and he always enjoyed the better spirits the warmer seasons often left others. Maybe this spring he would try being a father or some other grand adventure. Though perhaps not, if the kits were his kits then he'd have a harder time ditching them when he got bored of their lack of conversation skills.
Cadets were often the same way, entertaining for a bit as they tried to keep up in the conversation but they all eventually ended up lacking. Leaving Le Petit Volontaire feeling disappointed and as if he wasted his time trying to play word games with them. Peering over the edge and into the river below he wondered if he shouldn't throw more rocks down to crack any linger ice on the edges, if only for something to do now that he was all the way out here.
