Chestnutpaw made her way cheerfully towards the Graveyard. It was odd to be so excitement to be heading to such a gloomy part of Winterclan, but the excitement of the what was waiting there fueled the young pupil to prance forward. She thought the idea of a contest was amazing, especially in these trying times. Plus, the pupil took every opportunity to take a break from her responsibilities happily.
The pupil hummed happily to herself, her fluffy tail swaying carefree in the air, but a snap of a twig brought her songs to a abrupt stop. She froze in her stance, only moving her head to turn back towards the direction of the noise. She was confident it was another clan mate since she was so deep in the heart of Winterclan, but a small spark of fear lit up within her. What if it was a predatory, a starving fox in search of its next meal or a rouge who went under the radar. A shiver trailed down her spine as a myriad of ideas began to form, slowly growing her feelings of concern...
Pineflurry had hurried to the graveyard when the festival began. The tom was devoted to WinterClan and he'd have fun and participate at every festival and event. The next person to arrive..the pupil of the clan. "Hello, Chestnutpaw."
The sight of a familiar warrior brought both a sense of relief and a sudden need to straighten up. Although she trusted the warrior with her life, she couldn't help but reminisce at a time where she felt the burn of his stern side. She knew she had to be on her best behavior to not give Pineflurry a reason to chastise her again.
"Oh hello Pineflurry!" She exclaimed cheerfully, offering him her signature bright smile. "Are you excited for the event?"
“I suppose. Though to my understanding, it’s more for the kits than us warriors and older cats.” Pineflurry gazed down upon the you her cat, a soft smile on his face. Turning his eyes back to the rest of the cats arriving, the tom searches for the younger cats this particular festival was created for.
