Kissy had been in SunClan for, what, twenty-four hours? She was terrible at keeping track of time so maybe it had been longer than that. Presently the massive she-cat was spread-eagle in the shade, her long, billowy fur like a cinnamon-sugar cloud against a sandstone sky. While the weather was pleasant by most cat's standards, it was unseasonably warm to the maine coon WinterClan expatriate, and that warmth made her really sleepy. In fact, all she wanted to do was sleep, which was so unlike her. She was always so hyper-active...
She heard the paw-steps of someone approaching and turned her head in an unnatural angle in order to make eye contact with them, "When do you think we are going to get our next snow, huh? It can't always be this warm in SunClan."
