In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( Faithstrawberrycupid Funk is probably coming to DC for Glow... but Sen & Luc have been gone in DC a long time too. He was probably wondering why things were so quiet and nice without realizing the one Proxy isn't around. And just so happens upon them... xD )
Okay, so, superpowers. Being merged with a demon. That was great and all. But Senescence didn't appreciate the whole 'powers bound only to DayClan land' thing. Nor the mental crisis of realizing you were literally two beings in one and suddenly had diverging memories, far more than you had before, even though you still felt like only one cat. And really, she supposed she was one something, now, though feline was only more or less it, it seemed. At least for the moment, she could stave off the inevitable mental break she would probably suffer, she was good at doing that.
It helped that she could also explore demonic powers she now realized she had, and to some extent, it was all muscle memory. The downside being that it was all muscle memory, and if she actually wanted the particulars, that meant delving into her psyche and acknowledging this was all real and not some fever dream because Funk had drugged her for his own amusement. Not that what she would rather have was ever actually true.
"So, how's your practice coming along." Senescence tapped the shriveled up body of the badger. Okay, so this 'death' superpower really just made fighting more boring.

Glowstar kept insisting he should make more appearances in Dayclan. It helped they shared a border, but Funk had another reason to come up this way. Spring was starting, this was the time to prick the seeds from their buds. And Day always had the best soil for growing. Soon, it'd get to be his too. The Nemesis never would have figured this day would come, that meeting in the field felt like an eternity ago.
Granted, two of his hunters were missing and one was a proxy. Senescence didn't really do much, but he needed to get her back so he didn't have to look for yet another proxy to fill a blank space. Funk wandered, not particularly paying attention where he was going. Only vaguely following the smell of death till he came across the scene of Senescence and the badger. Light gaze flitting between the two, he promptly turned on his heel and walked away. "Nope, don't care."
Again, with the instinct. She almost.. phased out of existence. Well, that wasn't exactly true., she turned into something with no notable shape or structure, like a shadow or wisps of black smoke, something that moved impossibly fast, and before she knew it, she was standing directly in front of the Nemesis. Though Sen had never been one for motion sickness, her stomach churned, and in an especially rare turn of events, she turned and literally threw up, right then and there. Her stomach churned, and she scrunched her nose. Okay. Speed? Good. Motion sickness? Not preferable. It didn't help that she had no clue how she'd done in it in the first place, so the Proxy neither had a way to replicate it and get used to the feeling, nor could she stop herself from doing it on accident again. Ugh.
Wiping her mouth with the back of her paw, she turned her gaze to Funk E'tan again, as the red of her gaze slowly faded back into it's mismatched blue and violent. "Not curious, not trying to get killed, or both?" Senescence drawled, spitting on the ground to try and get rid of the taste in her mouth. "I'd assure you you're not worth murdering, but there's a decent chance I murder you on accident. Which would be annoying, because I'm not dealing with the effort of finding someone to replace you, or the inevitable tantrum Glowstar throws for literally sucking the life out of you."

Funk tried to hold back the laugh as Senescence appeared in front of him then proceeded to turn around and puke it. Did not quite work, he snickered a little. "You know me, always curious. Sometimes there are the rare things I think are best left alone, and figured this was one." Still, this was something new. I mean, how many people have seen Sen puke? Not many, he knew that. Not that he trusted Sen to not kill him, he felt it'd be way too easy. For now, he took a few steps back, making sure to keep in Sen's line of sight so that whole teleportation thing didn't happen again. He still needed to make an appearance in Dayclan, and not as a corpse. "So... any idea what's going on or why it's happening?" Sure, he sounded a touch concern. But it didn't take a genius to know he was more curious than anything, eyes lighting up as he caught the badger in the corner of his vision.

Senescence didn't really care about his amusement at her vomiting. Eh. She wasn't the type to be embarrassed. "Confirmed I'm a demon, learned I have demon powers. Simple enough for you to understand, or should I say it slower?" The Proxy asked, shrugging as if the whole 'magic powers' thing wasn't really much of anything at all. "They make fights a lot more boring."

Okay, sure. As he's gotten closer with the forest clans, this sort of supernatural stuff was becoming the norm. He knew Glowstar mentioned something of their dad being a demon too. But this, suddenly having demon powers, was still a little surprising. Funk was definitely a bit too inquisitive for Senescence's tastes, always had been. Though, for as much as he loved bothering her with things she didn't want to answer, even he figured it would get him nowhere. "Is it just you? What about Lucistic?" Looking around, it became clearer that it was just the two of them.
"I'm down here and that answer is very complicated," Lucistic said, hiding in the wheat fields a few fox lengths away, "that's why I'm playing hide and seek, everything's so much simpler that way."
He lifted his head up weakly to look at Senescence, "Oh hey, there's been some interesting development in this whole power thing."
A high hiss could be heard as a second Lucistic stumbled forward, he swiped furiously at the wild flowers and wheat, but unlike the Lucistic on the ground he wasn't tangible. He hissed in pain from every step he took, yet had no visible wounds. This Lucistic's eyes glowed red, with no visible pupils instead of Lucistic's radioactive green. His fur wicked with real shadows and his tail tip seemed to flick in and out of existence, dissolving and reforming depending on how the light played against his shadow body.
"Senescence I can see why you stay indoors, out of him is terrible," The second Lucistic complained, Senescence wouldn't know why, but this second Lucistic was very familiar.

"Ah... okay, it's like that then." Funk said, like he actually understood what was going on. When in fact, he had no clue. I mean, a cat with the ability to rot her opponents and one that can... duplicate himself, was just not realistic. Then again, common sense meant nothing now a days. "Life was so much simpler when we could only kill others with our claws and teeth. Now there's magic and poison and everything... So I take it you two just realized this today?"
"Psh, there's always been poison. Poison apples, poison potatoes, poison claws, poison potatoes. It's just a fact of life, but nah, earlier. Mom had it contained before, but it wore off, at first I was like, you can't stop me, I'm gonna keep these powers! Now I would really like to go back to normal, I've learned my lesson, unless my power is to talk to animals I shouldn't have it. But I can't convince myself to just come back to me," Lucistic explained.
"You've just now openly admitted your wish to delete me from existence," The second Lucistic hissed.
"Aww, c'mon, we coexisted before," Lucistic cooed before rolling his head to look at Funk, "I think he's a little scared, but hopefully he'll go back to being my shadow again and things can go back to normal. Cause this power is an absolute curse, someone hurts me, but instead the other person gets the pain. Like WHAT!? I'm being robbed over here, this is the worst possible power outcome I could get."

Funk knew that, the joke now gone. He just listened with a bored expression. So Glowstar was containing this? Guess that made no sense at all actually. Whatever, he needed to stop trying to figure out the Eeries. "What a tragedy. Does the same go for if you hurt someone else?" He still asked, as he did when presented with two demons in front of him. "And were you here when you discovered these powers anyway? Like, could you say, shrivel a human up like that?" He really didn't care who answered, though he looked back at Sen. Just to see what she would say, of course.

"Can't you just take the pain and give it to him? Throw him a bone once in a while. He get temperamental when he's gone too long without a good beating." Senescence commented to Lucistic number two nonchalantly. "And that's a rather boring idea, isn't it Funk? Not that I'm surprised. You could at least dare to go a bit bigger." It was as much of an answer as it wasn't, though she certainly seemed to think his request was almost laughably simplistic.
"It's MY power, you were always such a soft heart towards mortals though. I should be at last ten years old in knowledge and instead I've been enslaved away from developing, I'm still acting like a bratty child and I have the adult mind to recognize that, but the kid instinct to still react that way!" Lucistic's shadowy self sounded distressed while Lucistic himself just rolled his eyes.
"If it really pleases you I could harm more people, but if one of those people volunteer to hurt me I'm not going to pass it up. Is that enough of a deal for you to come back and be my shadow?" Lucistic asked with a purr.
The other toms red eyes glared furiously at him, "It might have to be," He snarled, annoyed at how much pain he was in just by walking.

"You could always merge. If it's that much of a hassle for the both of you." Senescence suggested lazily, waving her paw as though that were an easy thing. The fact was, in her own situation, it had been incredibly stressful, and as she was, the mortal part of her had been broken in a way that couldn't be repaired. High stress and an established connection had allowed Senescence and Naveen to become one and the same, even when the former was meant to be locked away. Was that easy, or a normal thing for a demon and mortal to do? No, probably not.
