( Foxbane has gone to PI to look for Kotori, or, well, whoever in PI is responsible for the horrible mess happening in SunClan. Glowstar even dared to Which means going straight to Funk, of course. strawberrycupid )
Foxbane hadn't been on the League's actual territory since the whole 'Sun God taking over your skies' incident. Okay, so the League did claim that section of territory with the mansion and greenhouse as their own, but she more meant the inhabited section.
She also wanted to look at that black market, but she could do that later. The ex-Priestess highly doubted Glowstar's daughter would give her a discount, but who minded a little embezzlement if she wouldn't budge? But anyway, not the point.
Her and Glowstar already had a hard time dating each other, and now this had broken off the alliance, and her girlfriend had decided it was best they didn't see each other. Probably didn't help that the easy one to point paws at was her. Which was mostly why she was motivated to help. She wasn't about to lose the DayClan leader, least of all for two stupid cats she didn't even get the pleasure of dragging back to SunClan herself.
The fox-furred feline had been doing all of her own research, staying up longer than was even normal for her, and so far, all things lead back to Primal Instinct. Soo, naturally, she had to go see Funk. She definitely didn't choose to speak to him first because she wanted to see him again. Totally business related.

It was always business. That was the way Funk had to play now. After beginning to date Glowstar, he bit his tongue enough to pierce it. Holding back the part of him he was used to dictating his decisions, he watched the market swarm and more and more cats pass him by. When he wasn't being a Nemesis, he was picking up slack everywhere else. It was horribly convenient how much of a busy bee he was, especially to his lazy proxies.
When the romance festival came in Sunclan and Glow wanted to try something, he let her. Especially since it was Foxbane. Cause things were certainly not chaotic enough. Though he was mildly disappointed there was no one else in Sunclan he could mess with during the time. And then, the drama between Dayclan and Sunclan started. It was suspicious, enough to warrant a quiet investigation of his own. Largely resulting in him watching over the League a little closer than usual. The pieces were there, it was only a matter of putting them together.
He was told the same thing, that Foxbane was spotted in the distance and he felt his pulse quicken. Yep, definitely did not want to see her. The bengal stretched, getting in a rare nap before leaving the camp. It didn't take long for the red she-cat to appear in the horizon, and for Funk to pull his tongue out of his teeth. It would be fine right. Especially with that sharp grin he wore and the simple lace choker around his neck.
Too bad for Funk. What Foxbane wanted, she got, and right now, that was to see him. As she neared, naturally, she couldn't help but get just a bit too close into his personal space, lifting her paw and catching the choker gingerly with a claw on instinct. Ever so slightly she tugged on it, not enough to damage it any, though the Nemesis would certainly feel the pull on his neck, however slight as she leaned in ever so slightly closer to inspect it. "Mmm... cute." The Senator hummed simply, though the compliment seemed genuine, and she unhooked her claw, retracting it and setting her paw back on the ground.
"So, you're going to be helping me out, Funk. I'm sure you've heard about the break in the alliance with SunClan and DayClan, and as far as I can tell, it traces back to here." It wasn't unlike her to not actually give him an option to help her out, and it was especially hard to resist that look on her face, one that suggested she expected him to bend to her without any resistance at all, though she'd offered no incentives whatsoever for him to help out.

Funk was no stranger to Fox twisting her way around him, and he had to hold back from dancing the same steps. Even with those feelings he buried for old times sake and the break from Glow, he didn't let himself mirror it. Not so close, not so observed. With the slight pull on his neck, he closed the slim distance between them. Course he went along with her, expression still as she inspected the simple black lace choker. Their goals were too similar most of the time, and that was the only reason, so he'd say. His whiskers twitched as she complimented it and unhooked her claw. He couldn't remember where he got it. Not that it really mattered as it fell back to cover the throat scar. It was the stark sign of his affair, though it was not as alarming as the red scarf he sported usually.
"I've heard plenty." There was no way he could avoid it. Not with his girlfriend Glow telling him everything and then Little coming over to explain their side. Like he was expected to be a kind of peacemaker when he couldn't even live in peace. That look made his brow lower some. It was always a waste if he didn't fight with Foxbane some. "What can you tell then? Do you have proof or just a grudge?" The Nemesis purred, smoothing a tousled part of her fur without even thinking. So much for being careful.
