Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He'd awoken before the sun a filtered into the nursery, but the first rays were the first sign it was actually a smart time to leave it. Something about being out at night unnerved him. He feared next to nothing during the day time, but the night, when he couldn't really see or sense the danger of the world that well, fully unnerved him. Perhaps the horrors of the world that surrounded him only really hit him in his nighttime reflection, or maybe it really was just the unnerving near-loss of his core senses that made him uneasy.
Whatever the reason, Asura-chan was glad that morning had finally arrived as he pushed his was out of the den and into the normal traffic of camp.
"Hi Asura-chan!" Elyon-chan chirped. "Whatcha doin? Wanna come with me? I'm thinking of going and finding a fish like Mink-chan did. I wanna see if I can cut it open and see what it looks like inside!"

Such a chipper response from another youngling greeting him the moment he walked outside was not what he was suspecting, and he narrowed his eyes in suspicion. He figured, at best, the other kitten was a lunatic, and if not, she was plotting something sinister. Still, the last line made him suspect the former more seriously, and anyways, he had nothing better to do. He let his guard down a moment. Heck, even if this was some sort of sinister plot at his expense, he figured he was smart enough to get out alive, and surviving an attempt on his life would still probably be more interesting that trying to find something to do in camp.
So he simply shrugged. "Sure. Why not?" He said, giving a quick lick to his paw to straighten out his fur before standing to his feet to be dragged wherever this other youngling interned to take him to find fish.
The little golden she kit purred. "Great! Mink-chan found one over this way!" She said heading off in that direction, fluffy golden tail in the air. "Mink-chan might be a bit bigger, but I'm sure with two of us we can figure out how to catch a fish. I mean, with Innocentia's help I was able to kill a ca the other day! It was so awesome I felt like a real hunter! I mean... yeah he was caught in a trap and Innocentia put a rock on him, but it was so cool!"

He blinked. "That's actually pretty cool." Part of him was kind of jealous, he would have liked to kill a cat too. Maybe this other kit wasn't completely insane, and even if she was, maybe she had good stories to tell at least. "So what was it like?" Asura-chan pressed as he followed behind, almost completely forgetting about the whole fish thing considering the new topic that had come around.
