Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She hadn't seen him when she first arrived at the camp, and before she had a chance to look for him she'd ended up falling asleep, suddenly over come by exhaustion due to long day/ night she'd had. Feeling a bit better now though she stalked out of the initiates den, making a bee line towards the large brown tabby not far off. "Let me guess... hunting snakes?" she asked coming up behind her brother. She was careful not to let him see her approach him.
"What are you doing here?" Roble turned around and was clearly shocked to see his sister standing there, plump and grinning, in the middle of SunClan camp. He had been away from camp when Maplestar arrived and somehow had avoided all of the gossip that was sure to follow, "Please don't tell me you are trying to get me out of here. These cats won't let you leave once you make it this far..."
He realized now that she had exited from the initiate's den and his expression changed,"... or did you come here for something else..? Please, please don't tell me you left MoonClan. Cypressblaze is going to lose her damn mind if you join SunClan too. Oh, and MoonClan needs a leader, did you even leave them a deputy!?"
A growl rose in her throat, and her golden fur began to stand on end in anger at her brother's words. "Why do you care about what happens to MoonClan? You're initiating to SunClan same as me!" her tail lashed angrily. "If you must know I left MoonClan in a better state than you did!"
Roble sighed. This was just great. He put his paw over his muzzle for a moment while he thought through his next reply. He almost never got angry but right now he felt as close as he ever had to that emotion, "I didn't chose to leave MoonClan. I would never do that to you, or Cypressblaze, or the rest of the Clan. You know I wouldn't."
"You still left, without a word, I sent out patrols and we looked for you but, we didn't think it was a good idea to cross the river to come look here." Her fur began to lie flat but, she couldn't help but dig her paws into the ground. "MoonClan is fine, It has a real leader now. Chosen by Selene herself."
"So you are telling me that you left only after notifying MoonClan that you were leaving to Initiate into SunClan?" Roble said abruptly, leaning in close to look his sister directly in the eyes. He knew her well enough to assume she had left impulsively, likely on a whim, and that the main reason for all of this had something to do with her ever-growing stomach. Roble himself was not much better but at least he hadn't gone so far as to start a family with Tinypaw. Well, maybe he would have if she had let him, but that was totally beside the point. Too bad Roble was an open boo: The thought made him blush and step back a little bit. Kits? With Tinypaw? Roble's firm tone, which was honestly unbecoming for him, faded back to his usual casual voice and he sighed, "I guess it doesn't matter. What do you think of this new leader? Who did Selene pick?"
"Actually, that's exactly what I did" she said matter-of-factly. She stood her ground, as he took a step back, she felt self-conscious of the way his gaze kept going to her stomach, that now thanks to her petite frame was obviously swollen with kits. Their circumstances might of been different but, their reasons for being here were the same in the end. She hated bickering with him like this, so the mild change in the subject was more than welcome. "Some rouge by the name of Leviathan."
"Just some rogue!??" Roble couldn't believe what he was hearing. Maplestar had abandoned their birth Clan haphazardly and left some cat she didn't know in charge. It was beyond irresponsible and yet the brown-and-white tom couldn't even find words to say. He had been irresponsible, too, but at least his decisions wouldn't directly impact the long-term future of an entire Clan. He did not respond right away and sighed. There was nothing he could do about what he no longer controlled; he would change the subject, "Oh, never-mind... I'm going out on a limb here and am going to assume that the father of your kits is in this Clan. I'd like to meet him."
"Not just some rogue." Meadow tried to reassure him, but it was clear her brother just wanted to stay angry. Conceding the argument she let it drop moving on to his second question. "You assume correctly." her gaze softened at the mention of Stridesplash. "You'll get to meet him when I meet the she cat you're here for."
"I would if I could find her. She's a little silver tabby she-cat, looks a lot like Littlestar but way more grumpy. She's been avoiding me since I was forced to Initiate. She literally hightailed it out of camp before the ceremony was over and that was the last time I have had so much of a glimpse of her," Roble hadn't had a chance to gush about Tinypaw, well, ever. It had been hard enough keeping it to himself when their relationship was a secret between the two of them. Now that there were no more secrets it seemed as if they had never be farther apart. It didn't help that he didn't know who he could trust in SunClan. Whenever he tried to open up he was usually shot down or just ignored. It was good to have his sister here, though, but at what cost to his home Clan? Well, it was out of his control now, not his decision. Perhaps MoonClan was destined to end up this way after all, assuming he actually believed in something like destiny, "Her name is Tinypaw."
