Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. We are looking for active rpers to join our team. We have a lot of fun things coming up in SunClan, but need people who are able to be actively involved in these upcoming plots. I will be watching your activity around the site, and how much you roleplay in sunclan.
What is a Janus? Living with the Soothsayer in a separate camp from the rest of the clan, these cats are somewhat of a mystery to the majority of SunClan. Keeping to themselves, these six cats have recorded and memorized the entire history of the clan as far back as SunClan's first leader, and are avid seekers of knowledge. As such, no risks are too high in the pursuit of valuable knowledge of the clans and world around them. They are taught by the Soothsayer in all SunClan's ways, hunting, fighting, and omen spotting included, to prepare them for the possibility of becoming a Promised. The Janus ensure ceremonies are conducted properly, and that the Burial Grounds and herb stores are tended to. Usually, these cats are chosen from kits and apprentices, however warriors, senate members, and the extraordinarily rare Initiate can also be chosen for this position. They are indicated by a mark on their foreheads, a circle, rather than the sun of the Promised, as well as full body paint. Red, for kits. Orange, for apprentices. Yellow, for warriors. White, for elders. All Janus are allowed the color black. The Janus hold their positions for life, rarely stepping down. Kit and apprentice aged cats aren't allowed a mate or kits, despite receiving their warrior names upon promotion and thus being full members. Having them, unless otherwise given permission, is grounds for demotion. This restriction is lifted upon reaching warrior age. In times of war, these are the clan's strategists and assassins.. This is a roleplay position, so feel free to tryout even if you have positions in other clans.
Username: Stark Raving Mad Charactername/ Description:
SATINPAW lights A pretty little Balinese mix with blue eyes and gray markings. Excitable, ambitious and energetic yes, but there's a catch. Satin is more in love with the idea of things than actually doing them. She dreams of being a Janus like her father and wants nothing more than to make her family proud but she's not really keen on putting in the maximum effort to do those things. That doesn't mean she won't just don't be surprised if her work does not live up to your expectations. She has to be self motivated to accomplish any task that doesn't involve personal grooming. Yes, that's right She's rather keep her pelt glossy than muck it up rummaging around in the forest. However, she doesn't believe others should have to do everything for her so, she'll begrudgingly grit her teeth and do what has to be done. Sweet as can be, she also has an usually short fuse accompanied by stubbornness. Meaning, she's not one to take kindly to be ordered around. If you want her to do anything you have to ask, and ask nicely at that. Otherwise you'll just get sassed. Deep down her lack of trying stems from low-self esteem she's too embarrassed to admit she has. She would rather her clan mates think her spoiled than have them know she's just afraid that she won't be good enough and let everyone down. The one thing she isn't however is selfish. Satin is always volunteering her services to those in her clan that might need help, (and also possibly to get out a task she doesn't want to do). Lead by her emotions they sometimes get the better of her and she can easily get caught up in them and carried away.
Why do you want to become a Janus?: I've started getting more and more involved with SunClan since I became leader of Moon and it's absolutely so much fun!! I love role-playing here and I'm a huge sucker for traditions which SunClan has a lot of. It's also Satin's dream to become a Janus like her father so it would be great for her character development to actually fulfill that dream.
How will your character fit in with the current staff members?:
I think She'll fit it perfectly with the other staff seeing as she's related to most of them by blood or through her(soon to be) mate. Other than that she's not the easiest cat to get along with but, she has a tendency to grow on others.
What is one idea you have for SunClan(plot, fun rp, ext):
the water sources in their territory can suddenly dry up, temporarily causing a drought.
Divinepaw/hope Mean, moody, and frivolous are just some of the many characteristics of this hot-headed and free-spired feline. Divinehope is someone many would assume to be innocent, pure, and kind but she does not live up to her name. Splashes of orange, blacks, and whites spawn the splotchy pelt of a calico that cloaks a lithe and slim frame. Upon her spotted face rests a couple of intense amber eyes with light green specks. Unfortunately, only one eye is in working order. When she was just a kit, Divinehope stared up at the sun during an eclipse and was permanently blinded in one eye. But dont let that fool you. She does not let her blind eye effect her. Despite the fact that she is quite small, petite, and half blind, one would make a mistake to challenge her. If one were to even look at her the wrong way, she would not hesitate to claw off an ear. Devinehope was found by Sunclan as an orphan with the rest of her siblings due to a badger murdering her parents. Despite her fiery personality, nothing means more to her than her littermates and what is left of her family.
Why do you want to become a Janus?:
I think it would be interesting! I dont role play much in Sunclan and I think it would encourage me to do so! And this could be a good character building for little Divinepaw! Plus, not gonna lie, the Janus is pretty cool lol!
How will your character fit in with the current staff members?:
I'm not sure Divinepaw is much for fitting in lol! But shes definitely a fire cracker and mistakes will be made with her which I think makes for a good role play! XD and while she isnt related to any of the Sunclan members, she has high views of Bloodyrondo and sees him as a big brother.
What is one idea you have for SunClan(plot, fun rp, ext):
Well, I think we were working on one of my cats splitting up Sunclan and Dayclan from the alliance temporarily so I think that one counts? Umm... I mean, Spring is coming! Storms are going to be coming in like crazy! We could have fires and floods but it seems like weve kind of exhausted those ideas. Maybe something crazy can happen between Sunclan and Nightclan! I usually can't really think up a good plot right out of the air. It takes me time to think it up because I'm a brain stormer lol! As for fun, theres a lot we can do! Holiday celebrations, pool parties, surfing contests, hunting contests, fishing contests, swimming races! I mean, summer is on it's way! Let's have fun with it! I hope that's enough ideas? Lol!
Character name/description: Swiftfire/ role-played by pLuto Swiftfire is a muscular, sleek red-orange tom with spots of white and intense heterochromia eyes (green/blue). Mostly, he is quiet and observant, making it appear that he is hostile. But, despite this, he's an approachable cat, but can have moments of irritability and impatience when annoyed and does not hold any bars in sharing what's on his mind. Being a rogue, he has had to fend for himself in the forest, making him a extremely capable fighter and hunter. Ever since joining SunClan though, he felt that he had taken a turn for the darker side. Occasionally, he would exhibit psychopathic tendencies but now when he is around those of higher stature.
Why do you want to become a Janus?:
I honestly don't rp in SunClan much but I believe this will the perfect opportunity to change that. How will your character fit in with the current staff members?:
I think he would be fit in well, but then again this group of leadership is different from what he once knew What is one idea you have for SunClan(plot, fun rp, ext): Still working on it!
