Zephyrglade walked far down river, this land had once been WaterClan's and while some WaterClan cats still lived here in SwiftClan things were different. The snow crunched beneath his paws, he remembered when he was an apprentice walking around out here, but only remembered the snow being slush. He wanted to say the weather must be colder, but he knew that wasn't true. The night of the flood must have caused the land to stay freezing. The flood also caused most of the fish and wildlife out of what was WaterClan. Prey had been been skinny and bare, finding a single squirrel could take an entire day, but he had also never hunted in such small spaces before. He knew Chimerastar had told him and Wildrain there wasn't any use in hunting outside of SwiftClan, but he couldn't walking around for six hours only to find one piece of prey for a fourth day in a row.

The blue grey tom walked down river, two DayClan traditional feathers hanging off the side of his ear. He was monstrously tall like his father and cast shadows down the snowy hills. His ears perked up at the sound of a kit and wher emost might hesitate to think it was their imagination he did not. Immediately he began carefully sifting through the snow in search of the kit. "Hello?" he called out searching for the kit.
