The cold of the night slowly began to ebb away, rolling out of the nursery like a great black wave quickly replaced by the first gentle rays of sunlight. Sanguinerose gave a laborious heave as she rolled over in her nest, her slightly swollen stomach somewhat impeding this process. Her clear green eyes blinked at the golden orb clearing the horizon and gave a sigh of contentment, allowing its rays to chase away the chill in her bones from the night before. Each moment she spent breathing in the crisp morning air she could feel her kits growing stronger inside of her and began to purr. Though she was awake, she wasn't quite hungry yet and was content to simply rest in her nest, head on her paws. The soft chatter of the other early risers lulled her into a doze, and her eyes slowly slipped shut and breathing evened out.
"What, not going to pray this morning? I'm insulted." The voice was light with laughter, though something about it all seemed dangerous in a way that couldn't be described. Perhaps dangerous wasn't the right word. Powerful, would be more accurate. It thrummed in the rock walls of the den, which suddenly seemed warmer than even the rays could provide. For that matter, it also seemed a lot lighter, brightness dancing across the illuminated walls like firelight.
Wait, firelight? The Sun God sat just out of her peripheral in the nursery, the tom much too large to be any normal feline, though his frame was that of a Maine Coon, with white fur tipped in gold and heated amber eyes. Fire flickered through his fur, causing the brightened den, and his presence caused the earth to swell with the supernatural feline's power. It was custom in the clan for cats to rise in the moments before dawn, and then participate in a group prayer spoken by the Priestess. When they were dismissed, the cats shared a communal breakfast before going about their days. Some without eating of course, but most generally stayed to at least chat a few moments. The same thing happened in the evenings. Right at dusk, they had their evening prayer, and then ate their final meal of the day to signify the day's end.
If he was angry at her for missing it, he didn't show it, which was a pretty strong indicator that he wasn't, in fact, mad at all.

Sanguinerose stirred when the warmth grew to a degree she hadn't expected, then squinted at the brilliant light filling the den. What she saw sent her heart racing faster than a rabbit with a warrior on its tail. The queen scrambled in her nest to stand, then tried to bow but failed. Her weight had been strange since getting with kits, and the unexpected different had her balance off center. Catching herself just before she stumbled straight into the Sun God himself, Sanguinerose straightened and offered him a warm, apologetic smile and slight inclination of her head.
"I, um, I'm sorry," she began, her words stumbling at first as she tried to gauge his mood. She'd heard tell of cats meeting their deity in the territory, but had never laid eyes on him herself except in the rising of the sun each morning. As brightly as he glowed, so did she, though in a more metaphorical sense. The glow of pregnancy looked well on her, as her crystalline eyes shown with pride at carrying sacred SunClan blood in her.
Sensing that he wasn't too upset, she shifted awkwardly, trying to figure out what the correct procedure would be and decided on: "Please, make yourself at home. It is your home, after all." She swept her tail towards the swath of empty nests she only just now noticed had been vacated to go to morning prayers. "I would offer you prey but, as you can see I've missed the chance at breakfast." She gave a wry grin and gazed up into his face with a doting, motherly expression.
