Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bluejay had her tail curled around Pandora's body, her golden eye staying focused and her right eye with two pupils... Well that one was hard to tell. "So we're basically indebted to you since we only exist thanks to your epic powers and now you're gracing us to be your holy servants to spread your good name, is that what you're getting at?" Bluejay asked rubbing her paw over the other. They were just expensive things to him. Looking at him she could tell he didn't even imagine them betraying him, that was how confident he was that he could smite them down easily and he was right. What power she had left could never even defend herself against him, there was no saying no.
She looked overhead to DayClan, even so it wasn't like she didn't want to punish DayClan even if it was on the Sun Gods behalf.
"You know, for an unintentionally demonic creation of mine, you got that summed up pretty nice." The Sun God agreed, the comment sounding far more backhanded than complimentary to the she-cat at all. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving you empty pawed! I'll give you some starter deity powers to get you started, ensured immortality, at least by normal means like old age and sickness, and you shouldn't need to worry about injuries, you'll have the power to heal anything you'll need. It won't compare to me, of course. Gotta give you the power to spread my greatness, y'know? Your mom clearly doesn't know her place in the 'spread the good word' thing." For as smart, capable, and really rather terrifying the god was, he didn't always make the intelligent choice. And Bluejay was right, it wasn't even a consideration that they'd betray him. "Think of it as me giving you like, half of Wanheda's power each. This really is a great opportunity!"
Pandora couldn't help but glance at her sister for the briefest of moments, her expression bland, but Bluejay would understand in an instant. This.. this was the idiot who gave them their destiny? Sure, she'd take the powers. In fact, she could already feel the return of the powers she once wielded, though this time, she felt perfectly in control of it all in a way she hadn't before. But she sure as hell wasn't going to be using it to this 'great' god's name. He'd already used her as a petty plaything between her mothers, and she'd listen to them before she ever just let him drag her into another one of his stupid schemes. She wasn't merely a kitten anymore.
Bluejay for once looked beaten down at the comment and nodded in agreement deciding to just take the comment. She didn't look very optimistic at the mention of power, but when she closed her eyes feeling her power return to its full potential, coursing through her very veins. She grinned, "Don't worry Sun God, I'll make sure by the time we get through to DayClan that Glowstar will never forget her place again."
She looked back at Pandora and then at the Sun God, "We won't let you down, it's an honor to be your humble servants," She said with a bow of her head. This was almost too much, it was hard to keep up any composure at all. But she also still intensely feared the Sun God so it wasn't like she was going to betray him to his face. After all, they were meant to be his weapons of war and if he wanted them to force DayClan onto their knees and hail a true religion, they would. But maybe it would be something a little bit different.
There was something to be said for the fact that Pandora was the one already ready to fight back against their orders, even before she could feel the powers, along with, well, some new ones, she could already tell. But then again, perhaps that was purely because she'd already been in this position once before, and she was rather sick of being used as a pawn in someone else's game. At least her sibling seemed to perk up with the rush of power, the earth thrumming as a deity, and two newly made ones. She could maybe get used to this, though that didn't mean she'd listen to anything the deity told her to do. She nodded along with Bluejay, humming an agreement as a smile met her features. "We won't let you down." She assured. They juuuust had to wait until they got back to DayClan territory.
"Good, I'm expecting great things from you two." The Sun God nodded sagely. "Now you should get going. Time's wasting, and you have a clan to convert, don't you? I'd start with a demonstration of sorts. That always seems to work best." He noted, internally reminiscing about half-burning SunClan's territory to the ground to force them to follow him. Ah, those were the days. On the other paw, he felt this little spark that he had forgotten something important... but he brushed it off. He didn't make mistakes or forget things. Probably fine.
