Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There was a sad sort of realization when Cadet Zion realized he was fed better in WinterClan's prison than he was in Renegade Regime. He felt sick to his stomach knowing he had been gone for seven sun rises and felt his anxiety grow by every new day. There were two scouts in Renegade Regime, only two hunters for the entire group. He was meant to be promoted within the coming weeks to a Scout and was one of the best scout cadets the Regime had. Now that he was gone and knowing he had left the Regime in a time of starvation he wondered if people had died because he wasn't able to come back home. That fear alone made it hard for him to sleep at night.
The white tom was curled up into a ball, for being in WinterClan for only a week he had already volunteered to help build snow mounds to block the winds from carrying into WinterClan camp and recently cleared some debris out. Not that he was trying to make it obvious, but he was definitely surveying the land for an escape route. But having trained as a scout he knew the most important thing was shelter and that was the prison. Until he could find a safe route out of here he didn't want to make any escape attempts, especially in treacherous territory like this.
When he heard someone coming he sat up wondering if it was food or maybe the guards were switching out.
The thin veil of snow that covered the forest floor made a soft crunching sound as the Knight of the Wise stepped forward towards the prison. The abnormally large ginger tom stared ahead with purpose, his bright amber eyes focused on Winterclan's prison. With the capture of the new Renegade Regime cats, the total of prisoners nearly doubled meaning more tension and concern within Winterclan. Many argued for and against keeping such young cats hostage. As the Knight of Wise, Lionwhisper was looked to for guidance and perspective on the matter, but even he was in deep, moral conflict over the situation. As per Code of the Night, trespassers must be taken prisoners. Lionwhisper knew better than to go against the clan's code, but there was something troubling at the idea of taking in such young cats. Thus far, the cadets gave no trouble, following orders with the mandatory work prisoners were often given. Lionwhisper knew that despite the situation they were in, the cadets were all safe and well fed, but there was still a pang of concern within him for their mental beings. The knight decided best to investigate and check on them.
The knight strategically took the moment to visit the prison when Crimsonrose took her break, not wanting to step on her paws with his visit. Overseeing the prison was her duties. Just as Lionwhisper expected the other knights to respect his role, he was sure they would expect the same of him. He took great deal to make sure the visit was short. The knight nodded slightly at the warrior who stood ground, knowing that they would not dare stop the Knight from visiting the prisoners. Lionwhisper's gaze immediately drew to the first figure his amber eyes caught, Cadet Zion who sat up, staring up at the Knight as he approached. Lionwhisper's brow furrowed slightly at the sight of the young cat. It was he who had personally brought in the white tom into camp. He was sure if any of the new prisoner's had any quarrels with him, Cadet Zion would in fact be the first in line.
"Zion." He spoke up, his deep voice rather quiet and calm, much more so than their first encounter. "How are you holding up?" He asked thoughtfully, suddenly feeling unsure of where he wanted to take the direction of his visit.
As the tom approached, he noted the familiar pelt of Cadet Zion which had
"Hello Lionwhisper," Cadet Zion greeted respectfully, "I've made some new friends and I got to help out around camp, it was nice to have purpose again, until the whole attack thing," Cadet Zion answered brightly originally, but deflated towards the end. He moved out of Lionwhisper's way in case he wanted to inspect the prison. While he was about helping clear debris from a path with Snakefang supervising him they were both attacked by what appeared to be a rogue cat. The rogue was described as heavily scarred and her wounds stank like the plague. She had wounded Cadet Zion and even went for a killing blow to his neck, but as he was here today, she hadn't succeeded. However the most interesting part about it was that Snakefang had reported that Cadet Zion knew who the rogue was. Since the incident though he refused to admit he knew her or speak more on the subject. He was still a bit bruised and cut up from the attack and hadn't left the prison since.
Cadet Zion curled his tail around himself, he had so much time sitting around that his pelt was almost as well groomed as a kittypets. Looking up at Lionwhisper, the knight would just barely be able to see past his fur and see his emerald eyes looking over him observantly as though trying to decide if this was someone he should trust or be cautious about.
As the young Cadet spoke, Lionwhisper couldn't help but take note of the wound. He had heard of the fight that broke through in the prison, but Crimsonrose reported to have controlled the situation with the aid of other warriors, so the Knight pursued it no further, but the details of the assault were not made aware to him, especially the wound Cadet Zion gained in the situation. As well put together as the Cadet seemed to be, Lionwhisper couldn't help but concern himself with the status of the wounds. From his understanding, the prisoners had yet to be released for tasks since the day of the fight, largely to over see and ensure a fight would not ensue again. This mean't that the young cat had yet to gain medical attention.
"I heard about the fight." The Knight finally spoke up, staying still in his spot as he took in the apprentice aged cat's green orbs with his own bright amber ones, observing intensely as the words spilled from him. "Do they bother or hurt you at all?"
"Not at all, I got treatment for it, plus Snakefang had my back, he's pretty cool, I like his warrior name a lot," Cadet Zion said while rubbing one of the wounds subconsciously. He figured the conversation was done, that Lionwhisper had only come in to check in on the prisoners and then leave, but when he noticed him not move from his corner his tail drooped. He was here for more than pleasantries, which likely meant he wanted to know what really happened during that fight. After all the cat that attacked him wasn't a WinterClan cat and she carried no familiar scent, but her fighting skills, physical description, and the way she aimed solely for him made everything more suspicious. Still he felt that maybe he could save this, "Sooo I guess you're here for more than asking me how I'm doing and are here to try and get me to talk about the fight? I don't think you want to hurt me or be here for a long interrogation to get the answers out of me so how about a game instead? Truth or dare, only we play it a bit differently. Every turn is a dare, but if one of us doesn't succeed in a dare the other gets to ask a question about the truth. But. We each only have 5 turns max. So if either of us complete all 5 dares nothing gets done, so we gotta make the dares count. Sound like a deal?" Cadet Zion asked, holding a paw for Lionwhisper to confirm by tapping his.
