She couldn't believe she was doing this. But she had to, and that was probably the worst part of it all. Snowy the Tenth had died just this morning, she'd watched him be carried off by a hawk after the tiny creature had run away from her above ground. How Sean had missed the fact that there were ten or so of them running around in the first place, she didn't know, but the Regime apparently wasn't keen on telling him, and Shule totally hadn't threatened to remove the ears and tails of anyone who told him that one of the Snowys, whichever the original was at this point, had died.
The only ones she could turn to with this, and really, the only ones who could even find another one of those stupid hamsters she was half-convinced her mate loved more than her... were Glowstar's kits. Oh Blind Protector how she despised the fact that she was not only about to ask help from Senescence and Lucistic, her niece and nephew, and more than that, two cats who were from the League, of all places, when she'd oh, taken one of Funk's lives barely a moon ago? It was an incredibly bitter moment for her, but even Shule could put that aside in favor of Sean's happiness, and he'd never even know it, if she had her way.
Now, she was in the old business district turned black market. It was the only part of the territory that meant she was less likely to be killed on sight, though for the League, that didn't mean much. But that was besides the point, she knew Senescence would be around here. Word had it she ran the place and charged downright criminal rates for Primal Instinct and outsiders alike, and gave special treatment particularly to her own district. Not necessarily anything new, but she meandered through the growing marketplace with a stoic expression, doing her best to ignore the looks cast her way as she went for the Stadium. If there was anywhere Sen and Luc would be, that was it. After all, there were rumors of events to be taking place there in the future as well.
Lucistic walked beside Senescence and proudly pointed at his new liquid black claw earring, "Funk E'tan gifted me the claw, I even gave myself a second piercing for it. I think it really ties the whole thing together." He said gesturing to his ear. The shiny black ebony claw stuck out with two feathers fanned out towards the tip of his ear and a thin vine woven around the inner rim of his ear. "You don't have to say it, I know, I look absolutely dapper," he said with a smirk before noticing Shule up ahead and immediately stopping in his tracks. His tail moved in front of Senescence in case she didn't care and was going to continue walking.
"Did you do something stupid to her family. Cause I didn't and if we didn't it was probably Zak or Tori."
Kotori had no enjoyed that Lucistic called him Tori for short, but to Lucistic it was the most convenient.

"Nope, didn't do anything. Maybe she's here to open a shop. I highly doubt she's here for the kits she tries to act are nonexistent." By this point, Senescence knew Shule was close enough to hear the comment, and that was only confirmed by the tension that immediately appeared in the already uncomfortable cat's frame. Sen was probably treading a bit of a dangerous line, even in her own territory, but oh well. No one had ever said she'd shied away from risk. "Maybe she's snapped and wants us to get rid of that new Commander. Think she's the type to try and ruin her own kits' lives? First litter aside."
Shule ground her teeth, and had to really, really try not to just go and slaughter Senescence for the comments she was making. She was just trying to get under her skin. Not that it made the she-cat who clearly had a hair-trigger temper nowadays feel any bit better. Glowstar really did rub off on her kits, didn't she? Even if these two weren't with her like half the time of their upbringing or adult lives, somehow, some way, they ended up being just as gratingly irritating. Well, at least the Proxy managed it, though she doubted Lucistic was any better. "Sean's hamsters died." She fought to keep her voice in some semblance of neutrality, though it really seemed to fail miserably.
His tail fell at Senescence's words as he stayed close to his sister. His worry only increased at each guess, why was Shule there?
Lucistic cocked his head when Shule gave him the answer he was wondering about. "What like the last one?" He asked with wide eyes. After all they had accidentally given him a pregnant hamster that had loads more Snowy's in her for Sean to love for a life time, but the hamster life span was short. Probably even shorter in a non domestic environment. "Wow," He said with a smirk, suddenly realizing why she was here, "So you've come in desperate need of our assistance. I'm going to infer you're wondering our price. I mean, because there's a secret involved I guess keeping the secret and supplying the hamster, we could include a 1 year warranty on the hamster so that would be double the price, but I don't know Sen, can we put a price on love?"
It was odd, he had seen Shule plenty of times, one of them was when his mom sent Vale and him to military school for the summer, which he never ever wanted to repeat again and couldn't imagine why anyone lived in the Regime. But the other times was when Sean was commander and he was there as Mittens translator, both times she hadn't been a part of the family. Now that she was it didn't settle normally to tease her. Like she was their aunt and even if he didn't respect her choices with Kotori and Zakiyyah she did feel like she was a part of the higher family hierarchy.

Shule desperately wanted to strangle Lucistic, but she felt he might actually enjoy that, so she managed to refrain. "If you want me to lock you in the Regime prison and let the Mercenaries use you as a training dummy when all is said and done, I'll happily oblige." She had heard enough rumors about Glowstar's side of the family to remember that at least one of the pair liked pain, and she didn't ever recall Senescence being that type of cat. Or at least, if she was, Sean hadn't mentioned it. Or she'd tuned out when it was, but that was besides the point. If she could get one of them to agree, surely that would mean the other would jump in without hesitation? Or was that too much to hope for?
Senescence snorted. "Not sure we can, Luc. Least of all Regime prison torture. I highly doubt it's up to Innocentia standards." She commented rolling her eyes. The Proxy may like Shule's mate, but the Superior herself was rather annoyingly bland. Of course, she was also one of the few cats that Sen wasn't sure how it would be to fight, which did make her slightly inclined to consider it. Or to completely sabotage it and try to piss the she-cat off to an insane degree.
Lucistic couldn't keep his paws still as his claws dotted the earth in excitement, "Really, tortured by mercenaries?" He asked in excitement before becoming disappointed by Senescence's comment. She was right, this was about as good as torture got was in the league. But the Regime was also very militant, maybe it would be a different kind of pain. One that wasn't savage and focused on the deep wounds, but instead whipping the spirit out of him, that would be fun. When he had been in the Regime he had tried to get people to hurt him, but it just didn't work when he was the commanders nephew.
"If I refuse are you going to beat me up?" He smirked before giving in, "We'll help, but you have to listen to our every word, if you can't agree to that then there's not much we can do."
