Twisterkit listened obediently, at first he looked completely unimpressed, half-paying attention to Wispykit's lead. But Twisterkit ended up engrossed half-way through, eyes round as they found his father. He really had written his mother a song? How romantic. Twisterkit dreamed of finding his prince one day, a cat to love him, and it seemed as though his father was the prince for his mother. His heart softened slightly and he looked to his mother for her reaction to the beautiful song.
She lowered her ears and her eyes rounded in awe. "Oh, Windy...that was so beautiful..." her heart melted and she was completely in love with him despite the heart ache she had suffered when he left. She only hoped the story he told was true and only time would tell whether or not he truly wanted to stay with her. A loud purr erupted from her throat and she pressed her head against his. "I missed you so much..."
Skykit was moved by her father's song to her mother. She hoped one day she would find a love as strong as theirs.
