Twisterkit shot Wispykit a half-panicked look, following Skykit desperately. "Hey, Skykit, we can't split up!" He didn't want to get in trouble either, he realized. What if their ceremonies were pushed back? Truly freaking out, the young tom batted Skykit gently, trying to interrupt her energy, "come on Skykit!" Twisterkit gazed back at Wispykit grimly, hoping she'd follow if Skykit made a break for it.
Wispykit gave Twisterkit a pained look then took a deep breath and fully exited the nursery. At this point Skykit and Twisterkit were both likely to get in trouble and if they were going down then she was, too, after all, this was all her fault. She stumbled a bit then regained her composure and put her paw on Skykit's shoulder, I don't want anyone getting into trouble. But... if you must be outside.... don't go past that patch of grass, OK?"
Now that she was outside, Wispykit was a little overstimulated by all the sights and smells around her. She also judged pretty quickly that the risk of danger wasn't quite so bad. It was peaceful, quiet. Warriors were never all that far away. They would be protected and, honestly, this type of excursion was probably totally safe. The scary part of this was that they were doing this without permission.

Seeing Wispykit look so unruffled calmed the kit and he looked around for himself, eyes wide as they took in everything there was too see. "The world is big," Twisterkit mewed, voice quiet and awestruck. He'd be a warrior one day and the world would probably look less intimidating and huge, but for now everything towered over him. Everything made him feel small and vulnerable. It frightened him and he found himself back beside Wispykit, fur brushing his sister's to remind himself they were safe and together.

"I know." Skykit spun on her heel, giving up on her search and facing Wispykit and Twisterkit, "Isn't it great?" The sheer vastness of it didn't scare her like Twisterkit. It only excited her more, made her wonder what lied beyond the horizon. There was so much she'd get to see, more she wouldn't, but that was just part of the adventure. Maybe it was too big, but some part of her brain was numb to that. Overstimulated, maybe. For now, she knew there were rules and such. And something about the way the other two huddled together made her realize how different she was.
