Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Wintrystar, sovereign of WinterClan. She is many things but kind is not one people would call him. Frigidpaw could attest to this. Or so he thought. The older she-cat has always been harsh with him, ever since he was a kit. It’s lead him to moments of depression. And heated moments as well. Currently he watched her across the center of camp. Eyed her as she gave out commands. Oh how he wished she’d turn that monotone growl upon him. How he wanted to cruse her and scream. To yell in her face and ask her why she hated him so. For clearly she had to if how she dismissed him was any thing to go by.
Chestnutpaw stepped out of the Witch's den, her usual bright smile plastered across her speckled muzzle. After sitting for some time organizing the herb storage, Chestnutpaw was finally free to go enjoy some lunch. Her mouth was tainted with the taste of herbs both sweet and bitter and she was ready to cleanse her taste pallet with something more agreeable. The pupil skipped merrily through the camp, noting a quiet student ahead who seemed lost in deep thought.
"Hey Frigidpaw!" Chestnutpaw's sweet voice broke through the student's thoughts as she padded to his side, following his line of vision to see the bustling crowd of cats moving throughout the center of the camp. "How are you doing today?" She asked kindly, confused as to what the tom was looking at.
(he's bipolar which is gonna be interesting cus I've never done a bipolar cat. I know about as I learned about it in abnormal psych, but never knew how to role play a cat with it. SO here we go!)
Frigidpaw practically glared at the she-cat talking to him. Didn't she see what was going on? Wintrystar was secluding him, had given him a knight as his mentor to keep a close watch on him! At least that's what he believed. Something about their leader had always seemed of to him, with regards to him and his siblings at least. But why? Why them? The depressive thoughts of her hating them put him in a sour mood, but one that had lasted the last few days. He never understood why he was like this ether. Happy for a few days and then depressed. Maybe Wintrystar knew and that was why she always seemed to be watching him and his siblings. Was she waiting for something? For them to screw up so bad she would kick them out? A sad sigh left his lips as he let his glare go and looked away. Across camp, he could see Wintrystar leaving. Probably to patrol as she would do alone some times. He didn't really wanna talk, but knew from previous experiences that Chestnutpaw would probably do just that. Or bug him until he did.
The surprising reaction shunned the pupil to confused silence. The bright flames of emotion shinned brightly in the student's gaze, so much so it shook the pupil to the core. She had never seen anyone show such a powerful face of emotion, but for what she couldn't understand. Chestnutpaw watched on quietly until the other student sighed, staring off once again to the direction of the tom's gaze to finally find the sight of Wintrystar leaving the camp. The realization confused her further and she melted down into a siting position, looking back at Frigidpaw with deep concern. "Are you okay Frigidpaw?" She asked quietly, her tone soft but her words cautious as she knowingly entered into unknown territory.
