Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Finally he wasn't responsible for feeding all these cats. It had been stressful to say the least, trying to hunt and find enough hunters to feed the regime when he himself wasn't a hunter but a healer. His sister in his usual manner had gotten him to where he would actually be useful but now he had a choice to make. He didn't see what the use was trying to split his time between the Regime and the League anymore. Don't get him wrong, he liked all those crazy cats, but the time he spent going between the two territories was adding up and frankly it was exhausting.
He sat in the large main chamber of the Regimes home, mulling it over by himself. He'd started to settle into this group more and more. Even if Shule still hated him, many of the cats, especially after he'd worked to save them during and after the battle beside both the former and current Chaman were beginning to trust him. He sighed, glancing around to see if there was anyone he could bounce these ideas off of.
"Hey," A voice started as a dusky brown furred tom walked over to him, he had black undertones with a dark brown, almost black belly, cheek fur, and diamond ring marking on his tail, "I know this is going to sound odd, but I think I know you?"
Sure enough the tom would look familiar for more reasons than one. Duskslayer had been his name... Or maybe it was Ryou. He had been in the league a few times around Innocentia appearing less as a guest and more like an actual member and had been in DayClan chatting with Cinnamonsavage, that time appearing more like he was visiting. Having visited the league and DayClan he had caught sight of Myst, but never spoke or interacted with him.
Myst drew his gaze to the speaking tom, looking him up and down. "You're right, I think we've met in passing a few times." He couldn't say for sure where, he wasn't the kind of cat that gave a lot of his attention to other group mates, instead focusing more on his duties. "I've only been in Dayclan and the League recently so those are possibilities.." Myst trailed off as he struggled to place the tom and assign him a name.
“Yeah, that would be it, I have family in both, my names Duskslayer,” Duskslayer said before adding, “I was a SunClan warrior though, hence stereotypical darkness hating name, but I guess now that I’m in Renegade Regime I might need to change to a more traditional Revolution Group name. It’s hard getting used to being underground though, is it difficult for you too?”
"It honestly took me a little bit. Lost of getting lost and getting used to the dark but it's starting to get easier." His lashing his tail only once thinking of the time he spent walking in circles on the first few days when everyone hated him and his sister. They'd been happy to see him lost and confused. "Have ideas for your new name?" He decided to try to make some small talk. He didn't want this tom to suffer the same fate he had when he'd first joined.
Duskslayer nodded, it was weird for him, he didn’t get lost, almost like the darkness guided his paws. He didn’t want to admit that though, he would much rather agree and say that he got lost too. Not admit that being a Renegade pureblood at heart made it easier to belong somewhere he never lived.
“I could just go by Dusky like I always do, but I also know my real name is Damek. So I almost feel like I gotta either be Dusky or Damek because if I chose another name I’m basically just telling Superior Shule that I don’t like my original name,” He laughed sheepishly.
“Honestly though the weirdest part of being here is seeing Xuxa everyday. Back when SunClan and Renegade Regime were ate each others necks she had kidnapped and tortured me. But now that I’ve joined she still is looking at me the same way.”
