"Wrong" she replied with a smirk, rasping a tongue over her paws to clean them after the meal "You forget that even though she watches over us carefully, it is impossible for her to be around at all times. Beside this happened inside of our camp" she smiled rolling onto her back and pulled Bloodyrondo closer. She used one paws to spread her long fur along her belly where two circular scars could still be seen from the snake bite and the other to gently place his paw onto them "I was playing hide and seek with my sisters and decided to hide in the bramble. Jetpaw was hot on my trail, so to keep her from finding me I wiggled deeper into the thicket. It was there that I gotten bitten, but luckily pappa acted quickly and got me to moms den so that I could be treated. The real lie is that Aunt Jetclaw takes me on adventures outside the territory. She was gone for a long time when we were younger because she got taken by two-legs. If you think my mom is bad for hovering, she haven't been kit-sat by aunt Jetclaw"
SunClan did a pretty good job of keeping snakes away from camp. The idea that one got close enough to hurt a kit - the High Priestess's daughter, nonetheless - was preposterous. Bloodyrondo believed it was still a lie and was about to call Silverpaw out for cheating when she showed her those twin pale white scars. He gulped. Nope, she was telling the truth after all.
"That must have been terrifying... snakes are wretched creatures. The only reason one got so close to you is because they thrive in the shadows that the Sun God's light can't reach. It makes me fired up just thinking about them," Bloodyrondo said, his voice so convincing, he really sounded leader-like in the moment even though the topic was kind of silly. He gave his chest a few licks as he calmed himself down, "Anyway, back to the game. One. I was captured by twolegs and nearly became a kittypet. Two. I had a sister in my litter that didn't made it. Three. I've met the so-called Blind Protector."
