[Invited Only] Autumngossamer had arranged the Blind Dates and gave no information on who anyone was meeting except simply the location, time, and activity. In this particular date the activity was a picnic at the ruins. The ruins bordered closest to DayClan's territory. The pair didn't need to bring any prey as the food was already provided along a bed of moss.
Bloodyrondo had arrived fifteen minutes or so before the agreed upon meeting time. He had groomed himself meticulously and, although his body paint wasn't as extreme as usual, it was applied masterfully and looked sharp against his ginger coat. He had decided to mix things up a bit and used a silvery-gray color, which he wasn't normally allowed to wear, but Littlestar wasn't around so he felt a bit rebellious. He gazed up at the sky and then back down at the picnic. The Priest Promised was clearly growing annoyed that his date hadn't shown up yet.

Silverpaw stood a little ways away, staring in utter disbelief at the cat that she had been set up with for the blind date. Why would Autumngossamer pair her up with Bloodyrondo? She felt heat rising to her cheeks, at the mere thought of it. She shook her head, before finally emerging from the underbrush her long silver fur shimmering in the sunlight from the grooming she had given it. She dipped her head respectfully "I apologize for keeping you waiting, but when I saw that it was you I couldn't believe it" she paused, knowing that what she said hadn't come out quite how she intended "No, I just meant that... I mean your my mother's promised. I don't think she would approve of this"
Bloodyrondo frowned when he saw his date was Silverpaw. They had not spoken very much but she wasn't quite as assertive as he had hoped his date would have been, evident by the cautious way she approached him. When the apprentice mentioned that she had waited when she saw it was him out of shock, he puffed out his chest a bit. Yeah, that's right, she must have been a little star-struck. That makes sense. He was pretty cool and surely had many admirers. The Priest Promised had very nearly forgiven her for not getting there early when she continued to explain herself, only digging herself deeper into the mud. His whiskers twitched in annoyance.
"The Sun God lead Autumngossamer to pair us up, surely there's a reason for it. Littlestar is not here anyway so you shouldn't worry about that and just have a good time. Sit down." Bloodyrondo was being sort of a jerk now, getting bossy, a little snooty. It wasn't too late to save this date but Silverpaw needed to know her place and who she was dealing with. He very much believed that any other cat would thank their lucky stars to be on a date with him.

Silverpaw shook her head "No thank you, this date is over" she rose to her paws, tail and head held high. He could act all high and mighty if that is what he wanted, but it didn't mean that she had to sit here and listen to it. She was Littlestar's daughter, and even though he did technically out rank her, she wasn't going to just let her push her around either. I mean what was he going to do? Go whinning to her mother because she refused to go on a date with him? She had been trying to find a nice way to tell him that she wasn't interested, but if he wanted to act that way then she didn't have to try and be nice either. Without another word, she turned to leave
"Where do you think you're going? We've got such a nice meal set up here, we shouldn't let it go to waste." Bloodyrondo was on his feet but resisted following after her. It was really messing with his ego to be turned down like that but the burn faded quickly as he convinced himself it was because she was shy. She was Littlestar's daughter, sure, but it wasn't too hard to believe that a cat would reject another just because they weren't prepared for it in the moment. His slightly scowl disappeared and he correctly his tone, "I just want you to have a nice time. I'm really no different than any other cat, you know."

"Again, no thank you wouldn't want the clan getting the wrong idea" she flicked her tail taking a few more steps before glancing back over he shoulder a small smirk pulling at the edges of her lips "You say your just like any other cat, but I have a reputation to protect. You may be the Priest Promised, but that's not the problem here so don't flatter yourself" the last thing she wanted was him to think that this was over rank, that was irrelevant "I'm talking about your reputation as a ladies man" she turned back to continue to leave "It is a shame..." Silverpaw added wiggling her hips as she walked so that her long fur swayed seductively around her small frame
"You know as well as I that SunClan cats love to gossip. A simple compliment at sunrise turns into a love confession at sunset." Woah, woah, woah, Bloodyrondo didn't think those rumors were going around about him, but he had to admit he was flattered. He was even grinning a little as he tried to defend himself. He was so smug, "Come on, let's not waste this meal. I promise I won't make any moves. I don't think we have ever spoken before anyway and I'd like to get to know my future Warriors."

It wasn't hard to see that her little play had worked, as a smirk spread across his face. It was well know that Bloodyrondo was rather easy to manipulate, all you had to do was stroke his ego a little and you could have him eating out of your paw "and when those rumors reach Littlestar?" she paused, eyes widening and letting out a little gasp as if concerned "what would she think if she heard that her promised had lured her sweet daughter all the way out here to ravish her?" Of course they both knew that wasn't the case, but as he had stated, SunClan cats liked to gossip. Especially when it concerned cats that were well known in the clan
"You couldn't be more different than Jetpaw..." Bloodyrondo sighed, but he had a feeling that would hit a note with her. It was impossible to not compare siblings, he knew that very well, and he also knew how annoying it was. He wasn't going to stick to that topic, though, if he pushed her too hard he was likely to walk away with much worse than some hurt pride, "Anyway, I'm not afraid of Littlestar, I'm sure she'd be overjoyed to learn about this date, especially since it was arranged via the Sun God's influence."

"Very well, but you'll have to order me to stay" she teased, a small grin spreading "After all then I can just tell everyone that I was following the Priest Promised orders if the questioned me" she moved forward leaning in close, her tail moving up and tickling his nose "Otherwise, I'll just choose to go and save myself the hassel of coming up with an excuse to stay..." Silverpaw leaned in a purr of amusement rumbling in her throat. It was true, cats couldn't ignore a direct order from the Priest Promised or the High Priestess, therefore if her ordered her to say she wouldn't have a choice in the matter
"Sure, I, Bloodyrondo, Priest Promised of SunClan, order you to share lunch with me." Bloodyrondo said with just the hint of a smirk for being so clever. There was nothing wrong with having a meal together. To be honest, Silverpaw was very cute, as were all of Littlestar's daughters, but her personality was a little too hard to deal with. Hot and cold. Flirty but abrasive. Still, he enjoyed her company and had went through all this word to look radiant for her. He wasn't about to let all that go to waste, "You can even have the first bite."

"Very Well" she smiled back in return, lowering herself into a bow "If that is what my Priest Promised wishes, then who am I to refuse?" she slowly straitened herself up, shaking her fur so that it fluffed outwards to it's full potential. The last thing she needed after a date with Bloodyrondo was a haphazard coat. She lowered her head slowly and took a small delicate bite, taking her time and drawing out their time together, pretending to be savoring the flavor of the fresh kill that had been provided for them. "So why do you believe the Sun God has brought us together?" she mused, leaving the question opened ended and up to interpretation.
Bloodyrondo blushed as Silverpaw fluffed out her coat and took a delicate bite of the fresh-kill. She really was a beautiful cat, looked a lot like Littlestar, but wasn't near as up tight, at least not in the same ways. He regained his composure before she had the chance to see and fluffed out his own chest a little, too. He didn't have fur near as long as Silverpaw's but his pelt was still fluffy enough to be impressive, especially with how he had decorated himself.
"The Sun God works in mysterious ways, so it is hard to say," He said as he leaned forward to take his bite. It was delicious, although a little cold at this point, they had spent too long bickering, "He may see a future between the two of us... or he may just want you to be on good terms with his Priest Promised. I can't believe that we have hardly even shared words before now. You really are... something."

Silverpaw watched, an amused grin plastered onto her face "I agree it tis a shame" a light purr rumbled in her throat shuffling her paws slightly to subtly move closer to him "Your nothing like the cat my mother talks about. If I had known you were like this, then perhaps I would have taken more time to spend with you" '
"Littlestar keeps me very busy, it's a marvel that I even have enough free time for this date," Bloodyrondo replied, which was true, the High Priestess always had some task that she wanted him to complete or some kind of special training for him. Right now he was especially busy with the Romance Festival but at least he was mostly in charge of planning it; that meant he could take breaks when he so chose, "I do agree, though, you are also quite charming!"

"Charming" Silverpaw giggled as she repeated the word "Say it again" she purred, enjoying the sound of it. Most of the toms in the clan were afraid to even glance at her, much less ask her on a date. She found the idea of dating the Priest Promised rather intriguing even if she didn't have a huge crush on him. It would be something to do to pass the boredom, and he didn't seem intimidated like all the others. It was kind of nice.
"Uh... Charming," Bloodyrondo was just now starting to realize that as cute as Silverpaw was she was also kind of weird. He was getting red flags that she just might be a yandere, what with the way that she kept looking at him like a piece of meat, but maybe that was all in his head. It kind of gave him the creeps though. He took anther bite of the cold prey as to give himself a moment to figure out what to say next, "So, how about we play a game, you tell me two truths and one lie and I will guess what the lie is. I used to play it all the time when I was an apprentice. Do apprentices these days still do it?"

"That could be interesting" she chuckled thinking about what she should say as her truths and lies. "Some of the young apprentices still play, but it is a good way to get to know one another" she moved a little closer as she leaned down to take a bite deep in thought "Alright I will go first. 1.I once gotten bitten by a snake and got very sick 2. Aunt Jetclaw takes me out of the territory on adventures 3. I one day want a large family of my own"
"Easy, number one. I don't believe for a second that a tiger mom like Littlestar let you out of her sight long enough to get into that much trouble," Bloodyrondo replied, flicking his tail-tip dismissively. This was too easy, maybe he should have picked a harder game. Still, he would wait to see if he got it right before he gave his lift, more as a formality than anything at all.
