Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer had arranged the Blind Dates and gave no information on who anyone was meeting except simply the location, time, and activity. In this particular date the activity was flower picking, which wasn't exactly an easy challenge in leafbare, but one that provided some fun for digging around in the snow and looking for bright colorful pansy petals.
Discordantpaw got there first, which was odd since she tended to be perpetually late. She had groomed her fur nice and neat and looked pretty as a picture. The calico had recently had a growth spurt and no longer had any of that tell-tale kitten fluff that most young apprentices had anymore. She had her womanly frame and looked almost, but just almost, like the shadow of her mother, Foxbane.
"Am I first to arrive? What a bummer," As much as she liked to make others wait, Discordantpaw herself did not have much patience, "Helllllllllo?"

"Of course not" came a voice from behind one of the snowdrifts. Honeysplash wasn't very tall, and with his mostly creamy pelt it wasn't hard for him to hide in such a landscape. "I have been watching, I'm just surprized that your my blind date is all" he purred lightly, leaping over a slippery stone so that he could join her. Of all the cats, he didn't understand why he would be put with her. She was an apprentice overall, and even though he still looked young and kit-like he was far older than her by far. Not that it truely bothered him all that much... "So flower picking in the snow, a little unusual. But I supposed it could be fun"
Oh, it was Honeysplash! She thought it was a little weird given that he could be her father and looked remarkably like her older half-brother and mentor, but Discordantpaw wasn't one to be too hung up on those sort of details. It's not like she gave Autumngossamer much to go off anyways. Even if nothing romantic would happen, she was convinced that they would at the very least have a good time. She started purring right away, "It will be a lot of fun but maybe a little cold! Maybe we can go to the hot springs afterwards to warm up, I had so much fun over there with Moonlitnocturne the other day."

He purred lightly "I would like that, but first I brought you a little present" Honeysplash grinned, before ducking down behind one of the stones and pulling out a little stuffed kitten that a twoleg had dropped. It had soft white fur, wide sparkling blue eyes that were over exaggerated. He had a stuffed mouse that he usually carried around with him, so it wasn't that outlandish. He pushed the little stuffed kitten towards Discordantpaw "I found it on one of my adventures"
"Oh, so cute, love it, love it." Discordantpaw said matter-of-factly. It was hard to tell by her tone if she was being sarcastic or not but her purple eyes shone with curiosity as she nosed the fluffy white creature, "I wonder why twolegs bother with stuff like this when they can just have a kittypet! But I really adore it, thank you."
She stroked it with her paw and found the sensation of the fluff softer than any cat she had ever met. The little calico was surprised he'd given this to her when he had so many kits who would probably have a lot more fun with it. Was he really taking this date seriously? Out of all other cats in SunClan, she figured he would be the one who actually tried to win her heart with this blind date thing. He was such a player, she loved it, but she also had no intention of giving him a snowball's chance in hell. Discordantpaw just came for a good time.
