Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Can someone please do something, like she doesn't even belong in this clan," Lilacpaw complained.
DayClan allowed their territory to be open for travelers to walk across freely on the grounds that they didn't hunt any of their prey or attempt to take herbs if they weren't medicine cats. Arcticpaw, Littlestar's daughter had traveled across the border and into DayClan, not just today, but for five days now, this was her sixth. She would come into DayClan's camp, lie down by the pond, and watch tadpoles move around in the water. Often rocking herself back and forth for about fifteen minutes before deciding to walk around camp a few times, almost as if making sure everything was in place before returning back to the tadpoles. She would do this periodically until exactly 3:34pm where she would return back home to SunClan. She would do this on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, but not on the Wednesday of a new month. Of course, cats didn't typically keep track of things like this, so many didn't know the pattern, but she seemed to.
Lilacpaw watched as, once more, Arcticpaw got up to walk around camp for the millionth time, like seriously, was she trying to rub SunClan's scent everywhere? Her green eyes narrowed at her.
Buttercuppaw padded up to her sister and sat beside her. Both Lilacpaw and Buttercup had been chosen big roles upon becoming apprentices. Although a part of Buttercup was slightly jealous of her sister being in the imperial class, she didn't let that jealousy get in the way of their friendship. "She's been comin' here a lot, hasn't she?" Buttercup commented in her sweet, twangy voice.
“She just sits there and watches the tadpoles likes it’s the best experience of her life,” Lilacpaw mumbled, but leaned into her sister for comfort, still she looked exhausted and turned her had to look at her, “You know what I’d love to do? Go up to her and ask her if we can come onto SunClan’s territory and see that typical appalled look,” She laughed shortly, “I know it’s a religious thing, but I still feel they’re using it as an excuse to make us feel we’re lower than them, like our “dirty paws” can’t touch their territory, but they’re able to walk on ours.”
Buttercup leaned into her sister when she felt Lilacpaw lean on her. A cute laugh escaped from her jaws when Lilacpaw made her joke. "Im not opposed to that idea" Buttercup mewed, twitching her whiskers in amusement. "There's a reason mother doesnt like Sunclan." The ginger tabby she-cat wasnt a very mischievious cat so she didn't quite know a fun way they could mess with Articpaw but she figured she could plant an idea in Lilacpaw's mind. "Maybe we can do somethin' to mess with her."
"Whatcha doin?" Zinniapaw asked as she came up beside her sisters, she spotted Arcticpaw and she sighed. "She's back again?" She said shaking her head. "Don't they have tadpoles in SunClan? They certainly act like they have it all." She muttered.
"Hey Arcticpaw! Can we come hangout at your territory!?" Lilacpaw called with a sharp grin, "I mean, you're on our territory, so we should be able to come onto yours right?"
Arcticpaw looked over at them, "Okay," She responded, but continued looking at the tadpoles, "There's four minutes left."
Lilacpaw looked confused and then laughed, "Wow, I don't think she heard me at all. I guess that means she's leaving soon. She's going to lose her mind if that thing thaws over, what else will she do with her day?"
"Not a bad idea sis," Lilacpaw purred and gestured to Arcticpaw who had gotten up and now walked past them heading back towards SunClan. Lilacpaw for once had a big fat smile on her face, "How far do you think we go with this? What if she's actually serious? Hey Arcticpaw, I can't wait to go and see SunClan, where do you suggest we go first?"
"The ruins, I like to see Eggwing there," Arcticpaw replied, her tone brisk and matter of fact as per usual. Somehow Lilacpaw had met someone more militant than her.
At first Lilacpaw was a little let down, the ruins she had seen, she could stand at White Tree and see them and while it was cool she would be able to walk around there she had been hoping to go somewhere deeper, but she brightened up at the idea of meeting someone, "Oh wow, Eggwing, so is this Eggwing... Guy? Gal? Cool with us being there, cause I hear you guys don't really like outsiders?"
Arcticpaw stopped and turned to look at Lilacpaw, Zinniapaw, annd Buttercuppaw, "Eggwing is very cool." With that she turned back around and kept walking.
Lilacpaw shrugged and started following after Arcticpaw looking to see if her sisters were coming.
Buttercup wasnt so sure but she shrugged and followed Articpaw and Lilacpaw. Three sisters on an adventure to Sunclan. What could to wrong? "So, Articpaw. What's so special 'bout the ruins? Why do you always meet Eggwing there? Is he or she your mentor?"
(I'm just gonna reply since I need the contributions xD)
"Eggwing was born in the ruins, I was there for him when he needed me, I don't know what he is right now though. He's just an egg, but soon he will hatch," Arcticpaw explained as she set foot in the direction of white tree, the defining landmark of where SunClan laid beyond.
Buttercup gave her sister a warning look and shook her head before continuing her conversation with Articpaw. "Is that who your going to see right now?"
"Yes, Eggwing needs a lot of attention and I'm happy to help him, he's only an egg. Or she. I'm not very certain," Arcticpaw said and walked them over to the ruins, they were large but since DayClan lived in ruins as a camp it wasn't surprisingly impressive or anything.
"So. You're just cool with us being here?" Lilacpaw asked.
"Why would I not?" Arcticpaw asked in confusion as she looked around for the nest.
Arcticpaw tipped her head in confusion, "Why would my mom be mad? She always wants me to make more friends and you're DayClan cats. My clan says you're one of the smartest clans out there and are loyal as a dog," She said truthfully.
"Yeah, is that followed up with comments about how we're smart to be subservient to SunClan and are loyal as an obedient dog cause we supply you with all your needs? Cause we've been trying to teach SunClan the word, friendship and what it means to be a friend for sometime now. We have made some improvements though, you guys moved on from thinking of us as slaves to servants, so we're living in a very progressive era," Lilacpaw said with mock positivity.
"Oh yes, DayClan is described as very obedient, I can learn a lot from you. I have a hard time following directions," Arcticpaw said, seemingly unable to see through Lilacpaw's mean nature, but judging by her body language and the slight bounce of her steps she seemed genuinely happy to be bringing them along.
Lilacpaw glanced at Buttercuppaw with uncertainty as they passed into the rocky atmosphere of SunClan, the ground was cracked and everything felt... Melted.
