The rabbit was totally going to escape, was Dewpuddle's thought as he crashed through the undergrowth after it. It was rather large and would grab the attention of many cats if he managed to bring it back to camp. But it was also so incredibly fast. Huffing with the effort involved, the tom gave a desperate leap and managed to drag the rabbit down with him. The creature kicked at him, hitting him in the stomach and scratching him. He hissed and tightened his grip on the rabbit, fastening teeth in it's neck until it gave up.
Dewpuddle had won but as he stood his belly scratches stung, they seemed to be bleeding just a bit. Growling in frustration, the large warrior began dragging it back toward the camp.
A scruffy shape pushed itself through a particularly thick grouping of undergrowth with a particularly heavy sigh. Learning the territory was taking longer than he would like, driven by his need to know every nook and crevice that possible existed. And that generally meant diving into difficult sections to be absolutely positive nothing was hidden within their tight embraces. It also meant his fur getting torn out in clumps and a bad mood to pair along with it. Stumbling a few feet further he shook out his pelt and let out yet another sigh, tossing a look over his shoulder. Nodding and moving on away from the patch he had just examined. There had been no secrets hidden within it and he was feeling rather confident he was slowly learning all there was to about this new place.
The coppery scent of blood drew his nose into the air and tilted his ears forward. Paws unconsciously steering him in a new direction, pulled by old instinct. He caught up quickly to Dewpuddle, despite his weak state. It wasn't until he was in sight of the other he realized what he had done. Now he would need to actually talk to this warrior he had in a sense chased down. "Are you bleeding?" He asked softly, as he slowed when he thought the other had realized he was there.

Dewpuddle was plodding along, his blood falling in drops as he walked. The rabbit had perhaps scratched a bit deeper than originally thought. The speckled tom was getting more and more tired and the effort of dragging his assailant through the territory was exhausting. He was so out of it, in fact, that he failed to hear or scent the newcomer until he was speaking. "Oh," he replied, dropping the rabbit with a bone-weary sigh, "yeah, just a scratch." He actually didn't really know who this tom was, but he smelled mostly like his clan so he didn't question it. Just sighed again and sat down with a grimace.
Tilting his head and taking in all of the others obvious signs of weariness he replied with nothing but a silent nod. Acknowledging his assessment that it was just a scratch. It was only after a moment of silence, a small drop in the ocean of silence he often inhabited. But one that made him realize he had to speak to others now. And could not simply exist besides them with little communication and let that be his life. "I'm Suspendedillusion by the way, I suppose I should have introduced myself first." He hummed, tone still soft and sedate. As he watched the other grimace in discomfort, large rabbit dropped carelessly in-front of his paws.
"I would also like to offer my assistance if you need help." So formal this bedraggled looking tom was, stiff in his words but standing by as a peaceful observer to the scene. There would be no strong reactions from him either way, either against the tom or for him.
