A night of cleavers again.
Would they ever leave him alone?
Lobsterkit let out a pitiful yawn and rested his head on his paws, refusing to rise from his makeshift nest. He eyes trailed hopelessly around the temporary den as he watched all the families play and laugh together. He whined a little, hoping maybe that someone would hear him and take pity but also hoping no one would hear him so he could keep his pity. It was a conflicting action, truthfully.

Happykit was, well, happy. As usual. The small kit had a good life here in SwiftClan. Friends, family, food. But he was always looking for way to be happier. To make it better and better. A whine from Lobsterkit caught his attention and peaked his interest, he kicked a mossball away from him and padded clumsily over to the other kit. "Hiya," Happykit meowed, tail waving, "whatch doin' lookin' all sad for?"

Lobsterkit's eyes trailed pitifully up to the other kitten. Of course, the irony of it all only made it more gloomy. Here he was sad and depressed and the cat to console him was none other than...Happykit. This seemed about right. "Maybe it's a good sign." The thought sent his ears up in hope. That's right, it could be a sign that he needed a friend! "Oh.. I just had a nightmare, but I'm okay." He responded shyly, trying to sound a bit more jolly but it was slightly forced.

"Well," Happykit meowed, sitting down in front of the other kit in a serious manner, "nightmares aren't okay. Just the other day I had one about a fox, it was horrible! It's okay if they upset you, you know. Fuzzypeach told me that nightmares are tricks to keep you from being a good warrior, you gotta learn to put them aside." The small kit shuddered involuntarily at the mention of his fox dream, "but its not easy. Fuzzypeach said he had a dream where we ran out of mice, it kept him awake for two days!"
