[attr="class","box2"]Flames crackled as the consumed the dried wood that had been laid out to feed them. Higher and higher they grew, until the seemed to lick the stars above in the night sky. Most cats would have ran from the flames, but a solitary shadowed figure could be seen against the bright light motionless.
Golden eyes gazed into the flames, leaning in ever closer to the searing heat that didn't seem to have any effect on the she-cat. It was almost as if she was in a trance
The flames danced and moved before, revealing the answers that she sought. She had set out from SunClan many moons before on a journey to fufill the Sun Gods will, each night building a fire to guide her. Each time the same tom appeared before her. He was the prince that was promised, the light bringer, the chosen one. However, the image was fuzzy, like a reflection in a disturbed pool. So she wandered, visiting each of the clans in her quest. One of his cats had sighted fire in the far regions of their territory, a log burst into flame, and it made him nervous. Chim was not prepared for any kind of fire to break out now; it had never happened before in the swampland, but the flood had left enough scattered debris around it was possible the flames could overtake the banks before they were doused. What would he do then? He did not want to see another disaster ruin his clan. So reluctantly, he set out to check on it.
The orange tom approached cautiously. To his relief, it was still only a single piece of dried wood that was being consumed, but his fur prickled all the same with the need to ruin. He steeled himself to come closer and examine it, only to find a she-cat perched in front of it. "Hey," Chim called, his eye widening, "get away from there!"

[attr="class","box2"]Flames moved and danced before her, the image of the cat she had seen so many times before coming more into focus than ever before. The long wisps of orange fur, green eyes that seemed to stare through her, a cross expression upon his face. Her heart pounded, desperate to find out any small detail the might give some indication who this cat was or where they might live.
Just as she thought she might be able to piece it together, a loud voice reached her ears. Her golden gaze swept to him, blinking in surprise as if she had been looking at a ghost. It was almost as if the image in her vision had materilized in front of her, into a living breathing cat.
"Don't tell me you fear the flames" she mused, taking a step toward the stranger that seemed all to familiar "There are far more frightening things in this world than fire" [newclass=.box2]margin:0px auto; width:300px; height:425px; background: transparent; overflow:auto; padding:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background: #772929;[/newclass]
"Just because there might be something worse out there doesn't make fire any less dangerous," he responded evenly, taking a few steps closer, though his darting half-gaze gave away his discomfort. The only cats he knew that didn't fear fire were those from SunClan, but even they couldn't command the flames they summoned. He glanced over her swiftly, critical of her red fur even if it was not the same shade as the former First Priestess. The smoke in the air clouded his senses and stopped him from detecting her scent but even without it, he was near certain she had come from the distant clan.
"This is a long way for SunClan to travel. Might I politely suggest you take your flames back home and tell Foxstar we aren't interested?"
