Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

(Harley's character is in the joining thread, btdubs. He's not a very complex character, instead being your typical neighbourhood loner, so you don't need to read it if you don't want to!)

I've gone as far as I can go,
Trying to find something that feels like home.

The waves crashed into the dock with Harley watching the fish below tangle with the tide. He had come this far east looking for...something. What it was, he wasn't sure. Even though he had only been here for a few days, Seaside wasn't everything he thought it would be, though it was still very nice. Food was plenty should you know where to look, and cats left you alone to do what you wanted. However, something just wasn't making it for him. He considered the heavy salt stench wafting from the water but disregarded it quickly, rationalizing that he become used to worse smells before coming here.
Harley laid down and let his paws hang over the edge of the dock with the water only half a meter away. The sun was rising slowly, erasing the dawn to become morning, and the sun glinted off his brown tabby pelt and warmed him. He closed his eyes and faced it, enjoying the change from the cold wind that came off the water. Harley took in a deep breath of that salty air, and let it out. "What am I missing," He mused. He squinted his eyes open and stood up. Harley's long legs carried him away from the dock and closer towards the fishing vendors to find some food, deciding not to let himself ponder too much longer about a gut feeling he's always had. No matter how much he thought about it in the past, nothing happened and he had no revelation. Harley was quickly finding out that no matter where he traveled, nothing would happen, too.
It had now been at least two moons since arriving this far east, and Harley had become used to the life here. He had made tracks almost all over the city, and had come to know most areas to go, and more importantly, where not to go. He stayed away from the Absum Lux Border, and frequented Park Place if he wasn't at Seaside. Coincidentally, he was at Park Place now munching on a mouse underneath the shade of a tree. He tore strips of meat from the small body, chewing thoughtfully.
Since coming here, he's become used to the salty air of Seaside an actually found it refreshing, but the one thing that he hadn't been able to shake was that same feeling of displacement. He has traveled most of his life to relieve this feeling, but he had never been able to. Despite the feeling, he liked this area better than most he had visited. Moreover, he was lazy and just wanted somewhere to settle for a while before hitting the road again, though he wouldn't deny it if someone called him complacent with his life here. Moreover, he was beginning to think he may always feel this way, left to search for something that will never actually show itself to him. If that was so, then what was the point in moving all the time? What would the harm be to just stay in one place for once.
He stood up from the mouse remains and stretched with an easy-going look on his face. He picked his way through Park Place, tail high in the air and his ears perked.
