Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
While the hub of the League was bustling about, little Peanut-chan was at the edge of the clearing where a large tree stood. The small bengal tom stood at the base of it and lowered the front half of his body, wiggling his rump and tail and before leaping upwards. Tiny claws gripped onto the bark about an inch off the ground. It was a pathetic jump, but he stuck. He could do this. He released, dropping back onto the ground before repeating the process once more. His amber eyes were wide as he propelled himself towards the tree, his small paws gripping only slightly higher than before. He dropped again, his tail lashing in disappointment at himself.
For a pair of half-siblings both born to Funk E'tan, the two were quite different cats. Peanut-chan was far more quite and reserved while Litfam-chan was loud and proud, unabashedly in your face and looking for the next thing to make himself known. They hadn't really ever talked before, that he could recall, but as the bengal watched that utterly pitiful show of what appeared to be a jump to see if he could get higher in the tree.
"This just in, my sibling can squish themselves against a tree. Fascinating development." The dark blue eyed tom commented, teasing laughter in his tone as neared his small relative. Litfam was young, so not particularly large himself, though from his young frame, he appeared that he would one day be rather slim and tall, unlike the tiny little thing that was Peanut-chan by comparison.
Hearing the voice suddenly caused him to jump. He spun around and his eyes locked with his brother's. Great. He didn't really like conversing with others, much less the boastful and obnoxious Litfam-chan. And a fun quip that insulted him. How surprising. Peanut-chan was often made fun of. He had learned to let it roll off his back but every now and again, it pushed the wrong button.
"Hush, Litfam-chan. Just practicing my climbing. I thought I was alone over here. Let's see you try." He retorted, knowing very well he would probably eat his words. His brother was larger than him but Peanut-chan was not one to give up or accept that his size may hinder him.
