Heartkit was already out of the nursery, not hearing Hornetkits hiss to his brother. "Wait up, Troublekit!" He called to his twin as he ran up from behind. ***
Shadowkit smiled and glanced at Hornetkit from the side, had it been his gesture to let the others go ahead or his brothers words that caused his half sibling to lash out. "My apologies, Hornetkit." His voice was calm and steady and without a second look his small black form was gone, joining his littermates out in camp.
