Aster was an overly quiet kit, sometimes wild. Stuck by her siblings like glue, even if sometimes her feet begged to leave. Her voice ran warm, though sometimes there was a shot of cold water. Though Aster felt like she was always cold, always huddling up to someone. Even in the sun, her blood felt like ice. She couldn't figure it out, especially when pricking her paw made the blood run warm. After giving everyone a stir, she now was let out of Brakewing's sight, able to walk around the camp again. The small grey kit collapsed, tail flicking mischievously. Just enough to let large legs around her know that she was fine. But she was frustrated. Suddenly, a horrible idea crossed her mind, making her jump up and yell, "I'VE BEEN CURSED! IT'S THE ONLY THING IT COULD BE!!"
"Can you stop yelling so loud?" Lostkit asked, someday he would grow up to be an apprentice snowy bengal lynx, but until that day he looked like a puffball of glittery white and stardust silver with a pair of icy blue eyes, "Maybe the only problem is that you're too lazy to actually lose your legs or your bodies just given up on you, good thing DayClan hasn't given up on you yet," He retorted. From years of his mom dragging him around to the local weirdos of the world he found that coming off abrasive instead of cute kept them away and less chatty. But now that he was thinking about it, Aster probably wasn't going to become his friend if he talked to her this way. Actually she was kind of a weirdo, he wouldn't mind continuing this mean streak if it meant keeping her away from him.

(i have no idea what her personality is gonna be, so expect it to flip and flop. but also... reincarnation turned illness is tempting>.>)
Aster's little body puffed up, those light green eyes narrowing. Okay, she was nuts. Some of the time. It was hard to explain. Like she had gaps in her memory. And voices? Lots of voices. She wasn't sure. But one lit up in a snap. "Do I look like I care what you think, Lostkit?" Her squeaky voice was not horribly threatening, but she held the inflection. Like that voice had experience with this sort of talk. That brief flash disappeared and Aster's ears flattened against her head. "Unless you have something better to say, then mind your own business." She spoke, much quieter this time as she avoided Lostkit's gaze.
"Oh, definitely," Lostkit replied immediately with big wide eyes, but couldn't keep up with his scared act and let out a laugh. He shook his head, "You care so much, it's obvious."
He gave a shrug of his shoulders, "I mean that's kind of the suck thing though, right? I can keep to myself, but fact is it's just you, me, and Spring in the nursery. Plus, no offense to her, but you can't really play with her when she's as fragile as she is. Hopefully she gets promoted to be an Animal Whisperer where she can just pet animals all day and not worry about getting hurt."
He noticed Asterkit's feather, Destiny, that was cool, he wish he had a cooler feather than Love.

Aster sighed, light eyes shifting downwards. Guess she said something dumb. Why could she never remember? "Well, half of me does. Sorry." That's all it was now, half. She worried for the day it divided again. He was right though, they were going to be stuck together. Not only in the nursery, but after too. They needed to get along somehow, but the other half didn't like that idea. Her paws shifted in the grass, unable to resist the smile that graced her lips as she thought of Spring. "I can hope for that. Though wherever she ends up, I know she'll make it work." Aster would have preferred if she ended up as an Animal Whisperer, but she'd go along with whatever Spring wanted.
She noticed Lostkit's feather, Love. That was sweet. She wished she had a sweeter feather than Destiny. Even if this one called to her at one point.
Standing up, she suddenly puffed up her chest. "Fine, I'll prove this is a curse though. You wanna go do something?"
Just when his silent stare became utterly unbearable he managed to mumble out a sure. He was probably the only kit that enjoyed nap time, but it was all he ever knew how to do when he was bored, he never had anyone to play with before. Now that he had someone to play with he figured he shouldn't waste it though, "Let's um. Oh! No..." He seemed to be thinking hard before relenting, "There's nothing fun to do in leafbare. If we were in SunClan or Renegade Regime we could still be having fun, but there's really nothing to do right now unless you wanted to pester Lilacpaw, she's the only apprentice around right now."

Aster knew he didn't want to. But she stared at him. And stared and stared and stared. Until he finally relented and she bounced on her toes. It was true, they really had no one else to play with. She looked around, trying to think of something. "Oh, there's a river around here right? Do you think it's frozen over?" One half of her loved the snow, the other hated it. But she needed to prove she wasn't as lazy as what Lostkit said.
"My mom told me to never trust the ice even if I think it's solid so whatever you have in mind I'm not too sure..." Lostkit said hesitantly, but then again he was curious, "Maybe we can explore a bit outside of camp though. I heard that there's a creepy mansion within walking distance, that could be fun too," He pointed out.

He had a point, but Aster couldn't get the idea of skating along that river out of her mind. The flurry getting kicked up, the smooth ice burn on her paws. The other part was sure she'd be fine, something that spoke from experience, but this wasn't where they were from. It could very easily only have the surface frozen over here where the whole thing would freeze up there. Aster's dark ears perked at the mention of a creepy mansion. "Ooh, that sounds like fun too."
Lostkit let out a satisfied purr, "Mansion adventure it is then!"
Lostkit glanced around and then began to walk confidently towards the camps entrance before beginning to enter his ninja mode and began sneaking around camp until he got to the exit. He waited outside of camp by the pillar for Aster to follow after. Only thing was he didn't know entirely where it was, but supposedly it was close to camp!

Just like that? Maybe this wasn't as hard as she thought. And she couldn't get cold feet now, even if they still ran cold. Looking back at the nursery, she couldn't make out Spring or anyone. She couldn't help but feel bad that they were leaving Spring behind, but Aster kept walking towards the entrance. The fluffy grey she-cat crept, sticking to the shadows before tumbling out the entrance. Taking a breath to psyche herself up, she ran up to Lostkit, though she was more enraptured by the world around her. It was so big, just waiting to be explored. "Which way do we go though?" Aster tilted her head.
"Um..." Lostkit glanced from Cadence Valley to the distance. Cadence Valley was safe, but it was sparsely forested. He heard the Keepers Mansion was open, easy to see, "We have to go away from Cadence Valley. We'll see it from a mile away supposedly."
As Lostkit walked he began to look back at Aster, but kept his pace, "So Aster... Who is your family anyways?"
