Fuzzypeach rolled, yes actually rolled, out of his nest and struggled a moment to right himself before stretching. "Ah," he meowed, loud enough to wake other cats, "time for breakfast." The fat tom cat padded out of the den and into camp, eyeing a fish from last night with a swipe of his tongue around his mouth. He grabbed the pretty silver fish and hauled it over towards the warriors den. The tom settled outside it, looking down at the fish with an appreciative look before tucking in. "Nom, nom, nom," he muttered to himself, tearing into the fish and flicking his tail happily. SwiftClan was the best, fish was the best, today was the best.
The rotund cat ate the fish entirely, picking the little bones clean and swiping a tongue around his jaws once done. Now what? It was too early for lunch....

{ { do you mind if I jump in? } }
Heathersong gave a semi-annoyed growl when her clanmate's grumbling woke her up, squeezing her eyes shut and wishing for either a longer night or a quieter denmate. The warmth of the sun and Fuzzypeach's chomping convinced her neither were possible and so, with a grumble, stood up and licked her pelt a few times to tame the wild fur. "Fuzzypeach," she yawned, slanting her eyes at him, "If you ever find a mate that you love half as much as you love food, they'll be quite the lucky cat."

{ of course not! <3 }
"It's genetics, ginger cats are just fluffy. I don't eat that much," the fat ginger tom burped, unperturbed. "Good morning to you, Heathersong. You're up rather early, ain't ya?" He gave a small snort at her joke about a mate, that most definitely wasn't going to happen. Once you tasted fish, even the love of your life couldn't compare. The large cat was happy like this, surrounded by clanmates and friends and with a shocking amount of food. He'd never known hunger and the timing of his arrival in the forest worked well for him, he'd missed the worst of leafbare.

"Not by choice," grumbled the small she-cat, rolling her eyes at his nonchalant reply. "Still, it is pleasant to be awake with the dawn, isn't it? To feel the sun on your face?" She mostly mused to herself, writing off Fuzzypeach as any sort of conversational companion until his food digested. He was lucky to find so much to eat during leafbare, even if the season was on its way out.

Fuzzypeach shrugged, trying unsuccessfully to stifle a toothy yawn, "I like being up because I get first pick of the pile." Not really, since he was up before the first hunting patrol came back but if that was pointed out to him he was liable to just follow the patrol around to call 'dibs' on his choice of prey. "And yeah, the sun is pretty chill too, I suppose." The orange tom rolled onto his back with a certain amount of effort, "I do enjoy having company though, I get chatty after a meal."
