Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Basiliskvenom stalked silently through Winterclan territory in search of prey, the store in came was getting low and because he had not bee assigned to a patrol he took it upon himself to go out and lend a hand. As he crouched low, eyes locked onto a rather pitiful looking mouse that was in search of food he heard the sound of another cat not to far away, leaving the mouse he made his way to the source of the sound making sure to keep hidden when he realized it was Snakefang.
Snakefang's breathing was ragged. Repeatedly practicing his leaps and turns was finally getting to him. Taking deeper and more controlled breathes, he slowed his breathing and shook off some of his weariness. "Come on, 'fang, you got this," he quietly said to himself. Slowly stalking around the clearing, he suddenly crouched down and bunched his legs under him, preparing to jump. Building up the energy he needed, he leapt - or so he thought. Just as he landed, his hind legs gave out from exhaustion and he ended up on his backside. Letting out a frustrated yowl, he rolled onto his side and laid there catching his breath. It may be time to call it a day, huh?
Basiliskvenom continued to watch the tom, he could see he was tired as he must have been here training for awhile, the large tom was about to turn and leave when an idea came to him. Bunching his muscles he leaped from the bushes, barreling into Snakefang just as he rolled back to his paws. "Giving up already? I just got here." His tone wasn't threatening, but he didn't hold back as he pushed the other soldier down with a large paw.
Oh come on, man! Snakefang winced and hissed as he hit the ground, exhausted limbs were unable to maintain an upright position. "You came at a really bad time, then." he said as he glared up at Basiliskvenom. "What brings you here anyway?" Shambling to his feet, he eyed the tom.
The large tom laughed as Snakefang got back to his paws "There is never a bad time." He sat down and smiled. "I was hunting and then I heard you so I came to investigate, you know training is much more efficient with a partner."
"Yeah, that may be true, but as you can see," he said as he used a paw to motion to himself, "I'm exhausted. There not much left in me to do more training. If you had come earlier, it would have been a different story." He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breathe, releasing it after a couple of seconds, then opened then slowly. "So what now?"
