Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mistyrose sat in the outerlands of WinterClan at the bottom of a steep cliff where the winds roared like lions from high above. This was a relatively forgotten part of WinterClan's territory as they had moved further out and no longer patrolled this region. Her hearing was bad in one ear, but her eye was razor focused to the cat slowly making their way toward her. Through the high winds it was hard to keep your eyes open, but Mistyrose sat barely blinking an eye as she watched the cat approach. She guessed already it was a medicine cat or whatever they called themselves these days. WinterClan was a barren fruitless wasteland, but down here some herbs could be found, so this was either a rogue or a WinterClan medicine cat. She licked her paw patiently waiting for the cat to come near as she wasn't interested in leaving the bottom of the cliff just yet, "Who are you?" Mistyrose asked. Although Misty herself was an incredibly recognizable cat of WinterClan. She was one of the oldest WinterClan cats still alive, was well known for murdering her entire family with her identical twin sister and was later jailed for it. She was released and forced to become the new WinterClan medicine cat and was one for many years. That and half of her body was blue grey and the other half was golden and literally no other cat looked like that except her so it was pretty easy to identify her. Although back when she was in WinterClan she had gone by Mistyveil, not Mistyrose.

Earlybloom had a secret, one always just moments away from being revealed. She lived in fear, crippling terrible fear. But out here, in seemingly hidden places in WinterClan, Earlybloom could relax. She could feel like herself. As she padded further away from her reality, the she-cat loosened up. So as she picked her way through the territory, visiting plants, she gray and white cat was no longer on guard. So when someone called out to her she froze, ears back, as she scanned the terrain. A rather strange looking cat stood before her and Earlybloom felt a knot tighten in her stomach. Earlybloom felt as though she should recognize this cat. Trying to place this cat, Earlybloom managed an answer, "I'm Earlybloom, WinterClan Witch."
“Oh, how sad, I guess it’s true that Cinnamonpaw was killed after I left. I was the first witch of WinterClan, I went by Mistyveil then, but I’m Mistyrose now. I came by to pay my respects to my daughters grave,” Mistyrose said, but she looked around lost like she wasn’t entirely sure where it was at except that it was around. She focused again on Earlybloom, “That means you didn’t have a mentor to teach you about what it meant to be a witch, correct?”

Earlybloom narrowed her eyes as Mistyrose spoke, "that's correct," she meowed. "I learned through the mentorship of a visiting medicine cat and through dreams. I hadn't even met Cinnamonpaw when she was killed." And Earlybloom truly didn't know this cat, but for appearances sake the gray and white cat added, "but I know of you, of course."
“Him,” Mistyrose corrected, “I believe he got his medicine cat name shortly after, Cinnamonswirl. “Do you? I never felt that recognizable, weird,” Mistyrose remarked before adding, “I don’t particularly hate WinterClan at this moment. If you would like I can teach you about being a witch. I can tell you’re not at your full potential and I’m certain it’s because you weren’t trained by a witch and as unfortunate as it is, Cinnamonswirl wasn’t there to pass it along so it only seems right that if I have the power to help that I should.” Her voice was very monotone and while her eyes seemed to carry a serious and thinly veiled consideration, she seemed heavily emotionless.

Faith, this is me showing up 10 minutes late with Starbucks
Earlybloom felt slightly unnerved by the words, not to mention almost offended by the statement that she hadn't met her full potiential. Manners and decorum meant a lot to Earlybloom, but there was definitely a coldness in her clipped reply, "I do believe I've done well being a witch, I even have a pupil. So what do you expect to possibly teach me?" And why did she sound like that? Earlybloom shifted as though to excuse herself but stayed, curious. Besides, if this cat was important to the history of WinterClan she wanted to know her.
"The ability to feel another persons emotions. The true ability of a witch is to innately feel anothers emotions coursing through your heart. If you hone the skill, if you let the emotions circulate inside of you like blood in the veins you may even advance to feel someones physical ailments. A gift for anyone who wishes to cure another's pains and heart ache. That is what I have to offer you Earlybloom," Mistyrose said, her eyes more piercing than the sun, but twice as blinding making anyone want to turn away from her gaze.

Earlybloom had to look away as Mistyrose spoke, shifting her weight nervously, "sometimes," she began, hardly able to believe she was about to spill one of her biggest secrets, "I get this restless feeling. Like I have to move or it drives me crazy. If I clear my mind and just walk, I always end up finding a cat that's sick or hurt or abandoned kits. Or a rare herb I need. That kind of thing. Is that... is that related to what you're talking about?" Because what Mistyrose was saying was almost completely unbelievable to her. Only the existence of her strange ability made her thing Mistyrose was serious.
