[attr="class","box2"] Littlestar looked down at the cold snow that blew over her paws. It had been a long time since she had set paw in WinterClan, and she had never visited her parent's grave. After their apperance at her nine lives ceremony, she couldn't help but feel the desire to make the long trek to WinterClan in order to visit the place all her ancestors had been put to rest. But more than that... her children had never seen winterclan, they knew nothing of the clan that their mother had been born into.
Brilliantpaw had been asking so many questions, that Littlestar knew if she didn't do something the little she-cat was going to her herself into trouble. Lionpride and Fernskip had been easy compared to this new litter, so full of questions that she wasn't always able to answer. The winterclan that exsisted now wasn't the same as the clan she had been born into.
However, she deserved the chance to see WinterClan for herself, and at least this way her daughter wouldn'd be caught sneaking into WinterClan alone.
"It won't be long now" she purred letting her tail tap her daughters shoulder as the slowly made their way the snowy mountain towards the burial grounds. She was surprised that they had made it this far without being spotted, but then again most cats were not mouse brained enough to go hiking up the mountain during a snow storm. The burial grounds were just up ahead, and she couldn't help but feel a slight thrum of fear. Her father had only brought here once before to visit the graves of his parents. The rest of the clan had all talked about avoiding them because of the white cats.
(I'm tagging you as apart of the patrol that finds Littlestar and Brillaintpaw. We're taking them back to Wintrystar for questioning.) Cleaverneverstarstarkomiharu @ian
Pineflurry, the ever loyal WinterClan, tom had volunteered to be apart of this patrol. Partly due to his loyalty, the other part because he'd been growing bored in camp. Thick furred tuxedo tom looked over his group, making sure they stayed close. The snow wasn't easy to trend, especially after a fresh layer had fallen the night before and the storm raging around them. He didn't want to lose Cloudpaw, a newly appointed apprentice in the group, to the snowdrifts. "Keep close now, we don't need to get separated in this storm." He wasn't exactly the best cat to have on this patrol, being partially deaf, but the storm had started once they were already out. Thus making it too late to turn back. The group was rounding down towards the burial grounds for their last swipe of the area before heading back, nearly done with their patrol.

Frostfire had tagged along with Pineflurry, joining the patrol with a slightly bored expression. When you'd been a warrior as long as he'd been one, there was nothing exciting about patrols. However, he knew Pineflurry was hard of hearing and with the storm, well Frostfire would have just stayed in camp and worried. So instead he was staying close to Pineflurry without being overbearing, eyes watching the other patrol members carefully to ensure no one was separated.
Greysin stalked at the rear of the group, several paces behind, where they were not polluting his senses. The ghastly giant had rarely spoken to his patrol members before today, and he hadn't said a single word yet on this patrol. He tended toward silence and preferred not to waste his time with unworthy scum - a far cry from his youth, uncertainly, but all cats must grow and learn their lessons. His head low, he was scanning the ground intently for signs of disturbance, for tales of prey that had passed by.

[attr="class","box2"] Littlestar walked into the burial ground, head held high. Forcing he worries and fears away. She walked over to the stones that marked where her ancestors were buried. It looked different from when she had been here last, two new stones now stood in the plot that had been reserved for their family. She lifter her paw, gently placing it on the cold stone... Her father's stone.. Even though she had left before it had been placed she knew it was his. Cats in WinterClan one selected their own stones and placements before their deaths. This is where her father had arranged to be buried, looking beside of the stone. The place where he had wanted her to be buried one day along side of him. "This is Goldenstar's stone" she turned to her daughter, a small smile on her face.
"Even though he did a lot of terrible things, the one thing that I do know is that he loved me in his own way" but she wasn't satisfied to stop just there. Where was Hazedthroat's stone? Her mother would not have been buried with her father, but where was her stone?
Just as the thought crossed her mind, she could hear the patrol aproaching "It seems we have been found" she chuckled flicking her tail onto Goldenpaw's shoulder. There would be no running, though they could have tried to hide behind the stones it was rather silly. They weren't do anything wrong, just coming to pay respects to those that had passed on before them.
She stood tall, the bright oranges, reds, and yellows sticking out against the paleness of the snowy mountain. A sun ready to greet what was to come

( -runs in, panting- I'M HERE! I MADE IT! )
The large apprentice peeked at the stone as her mother stared at it, feeling the weight on her shoulders ever growing. Goldenstar, leader of WinterClan. Her mother Littlestar, the SunClan leader, father Skipstep a Janus... So much power and history here, and it began in the snowy landscape her mother once had called home. Her ears pricked, head tilting at the fact that Littlestar wasn't even attempting to turn away. Not that she was surprised. If anyone was allowed to be here, it was them. "What was he like?" She asked, sounding curious as she took another glance towards the stone.

[attr="class","box2"] Littlestar smiled thinking back on her father, and all the good things that he had done. "He was a strong leader, who demanded complete respect from everyone around him. When he made a promise there was no doubt that he would keep it... good or bad. He often did cruel things, but it was all for the betterment of his family or clan"
she paused ears flickering towards the approaching patrol "However his biggest mistake was making an enemy out of my mother. They may have never loved one another, but the two of them could have acomplished great things had their set their diffrences aside"
"Most cats remember him as a cruel cat, but he also had a softer side that I got to see. He was always kind to me, making sure that I had everything I needed and was brought up appropriately. He was strict, insisiting that I acted a certain way, but it was because he wanted me to become leader of WinterClan one day...he wanted me to be strong"

"Do you think he's proud of you, being SunClan's leader?" She asked instantly, though after her mind caught up with her tongue, she regretted the question some. He'd hoped she'd lead WinterClan. Certainly, no matter how happy he was for her leadership, he was disappointed that it wasn't the one he wanted? Of course, that also made her inwardly defensive. SunClan was great! It had a strong reputation, and Littlestar was a leader to fear and respect. It shouldn't matter where she was leading, should it? Brilliantpaw hoped not.
Pineflurry came over the hill and upon the old graveyard site. What he hadn't expected was to find two strangers there. They were clearly not WinterClan cats and that made them trespassers. "Halt! Who goes there!" Black and white fur prickled and eyes narrowed, he motioned to the rest of his patrol that they had company. While Pineflurry doesn't get out of camp much due to his deafness, and thus it was no surprise that he didn't recognize the leader of another clan and her daughter, what he did recognize was the scent. "What are two SunClan cats doing all the way out here?"

[attr="class","box2"] Littlestar wasn't all that surprised as the WinterClan patrol came upon them, she had heard them in the distance for a while now. She let her tail gently touch her shoulder, giving her a reassuring smile. She would have to answer her question later it seemed.
She turned to face the patrol, her brightly painted fur a raging fire against the pale snow "I'm simply hear to pay my respects to my mother, father, and ancestors" she answered honestly, she had no reason to hide why she was here, it was rather common knowledge that SunClan's High Priestess hailed from WinterClan
"They along with most of my family are buried here. This is my daughter Brilliantpaw, she has been asking many questions about where our family came from, and wanted to her respects to her grandparents herself" she moved the bundle of flowers that she had been carrying off of her shoulder handing them to her daughter so that she could place them on the graves. "You should have contacted Wintrystar first. You're trespassing!" Pineflurry growled as he approached closer. He motioned for the others to flank around him and surround the two SunClan cats. The patrol would bring the trespassers back to face judgment in WinterClan and to become prisoners of the clan.
Greysin lurked behind the other warrior, his dark fur beginning to lift, but he paused as he considered the leader. She stirred a familiar memory at the back of his mind until finally, he recognized her. Littlestar's mother had raised him and his siblings as well, and they'd all lived together in the den until Hazethroat's untimely death. Greywin stalked forward to greet them mutely, no hostility left in his gaze. "He's not wrong," he rumbled.
