Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( This 'training' is for both Mercenaries & Mercenary Cadets to hone and sharpen their skills. Except.. well, is this even the right training? )
Shule ran a tight ship around the Regime. The Mercenaries, by now, had been properly whipped into shape, and all had been taught to stand at attention, march, and honed their skills to fight with deadly precision both together as a unit, and separately, in ways that were quite unusual for the Clans. She taught them tactics and battle plans, and occasionally, when she was in the mood, they could demonstrate these in the most intense game of 'Capture the Moss Ball' known to feline society, wherein the losers were stuck with double duty on top of their usual expectations of keeping in shape.
Today, today was not one of those days. They stood on the rocky and snow covered above ground land, tails freezing off, as a startling number of supplies were dumped before them. Random twoleg items from who knew where, twigs, semi-dried vines, rocks, some random seeds and pinecones, even a hollowed out old log full of water that was starting to freeze over and a large pile of dirt. It made no sense whatsoever, and her next words did not help make this seem any more normal. "As you all know, we're rather low on prey at this current moment in time. So, to make up for it, your task is to catch some, today. We're not doing it the Scouts' way, though. No, no, no, you get to get your paws dirty, use that teamwork I taught you, and build traps. You're going to invent ways to trap prey that the Scouts can use to catch more prey so we don't die out here because none of you thought 'hey, maybe I should teach myself hunting in case literally our entire group thinks fighting is more fun than hunting' for some stupid reason. And the first person that asks why you're doing a Scout's job gets to do five laps around the border, and has to wear whatever dumb thing I can make while you're working to shame you for questioning this. Whoever makes the best trap gets two days of all duties. Now, team up and get to work."
