[attr="class","box2"]A lot of time and energy had been spent in making today perfect. This marked a year since their first real date, and Lovesmitten was determined that today everything would go perfect as he slipped into her den where she was sleeping. He eased himself into her nest, his auburn fur brushing up against her back as he curled around her "Good morning beautiful" he purred, his tongue gently rasping over her ear to awaken her.
After everything the past few moons had thrown her, Autumngossamer needed today. A day in which it would just be the two of them and their love for one another. "I have a surprise for you, but first" he pulled out the big leaves and gently placed them over her eyes, fastening them into place. On their first date he had done something similar, as he took her to their secret place. Their hidden oasis, where they could both be free to speak their minds and unburden what lied upon their heart.
"I can't have you seeing it until we get there" he teased, gently running his tail along her spine. How was it that even after a year together that he still felt and electric shock with every touch? Even just having her laying next to him was enough to make him feel all warm and fuzzy. He felt like a young apprentice again, full of glee and excitement.
Even though a few cats in the clan saw her differently, he didn't. She was still the amazing and beautiful she-cat that he had declared his love to. The same cat that made him long for her when she was away. The cat that filled his dreams, and helped him form a commitment that could now not be broken. He clung to her very words, devoted himself to her care, and worshiped everything that she touched. She may not be perfect, but she was the perfect one for him.
"Lovesmitten, I've gotta do something special for you too though! But okay!" She said with a giddy smile, "I'm excited, but tomorrow I get to set up something special for you for the next day, okay?"
Since the curse she had gotten the hang of a few things, for once, she didn't give a damn about anyone. Turns out getting savagely torn a part emotionally by the God she was devoted to was the best thing that happened to her. She needed that person in her life that made her angry enough to change and for her being chewed out by the Sun God made her realize that yeah, who cared if she wasn't worthy? She knew she was worthy, she knew she tried her hardest, she didn't need other peoples approval! Her fur wasn't a stunning ruby red and her undertones didn't shine impressively, but she was happy with her reflection. She looked the way she always did, average, the same young kitten soft face she wanted to look more grown up, and the same ordinary orange tabby fur. She wasn't perfect, but she never was, what made her come off angelic was the ability to be unapologetic about owning who she was. Along side Lovesmitten she almost felt like she shinned like she used to. She never forgot who she was and no matter how bad things got her confidence in their love was unwavering. Love kept her together.
Autumngossamer licked him on the side of his cheek, "Haha, always know where you're at, even if I can't see."

[attr="class","box2"]Ok, ok" he purred, his heart almost skipping a beat as she suggest that she plan their next big date. Normally he did all of the planning and surprising since her duties as the Soothsayer kept her busy. But today that all could wait, today was his day to show her a fun time to pull her away from everything that was going on. To slow down, and have time between just the two of them.
"Next time you can plan our today, but today you are all mine" he teased, rising to his paws, but keeping her fur brushing up against hers to help her guide her towards the surprise that he had created for her
"You get five questions to guess about what lies ahead" on their first date he had done something similar. She had told him that she didn't like surprises, so he had allowed her to ask five questions in order to help ease her fears.
Of course she probably wasn't as fearful as the first time. SHe knew how much he loved her now, and the two of them had adopted their first litter.
"Alright, I'll just roll them off," Autumngossamer said, her claw tapping at her chin for a moment before trying to guess, "Um. A freezing nature walk?" She asked, truthfully she could hardly imagine what he could do for her in leafbare. "How about... Leaf collecting? Oh! Maybe you're going to give me a cute manicure with my claws. Um. Walk me off a cliff, I don't know," She laughed before adding, "I hope you know you're absolutely inviting trouble, blinding me." She purred, not that it really mattered. She had been taken by two-legs last greenleaf and experimented on relentlessly, granting her extraordinarily high senses. That and long sharp claws. Now that she was listing off being experimented on and cursed all in the same year was rough.
