The moon hung in a cloudless sky, stars glimmering as the first clan arrived at the gathering place, a cold breeze winding through the area to signal the coming end to leaffall, and the leafbare to begin. Tonight was a full moon night like every other, where the clans would once again meet to share news and accomplishments of the previous moon, but even so, there was tension in the air as Foxstar lead the cats into the clearing, her painted head held high as her gaze drifted over the desolate place, devoid of the other leaders' presences for the moment. It wouldn't be long now, before cats from all walks of life would arrive, only to be met with a strange sight indeed.
Neither the SpringClan nor DayClan leader guided their own warriors to the gathering place.
SunClan headed the group, Foxstar, flanked by her Promised and Soothsayers, which wasn't unusual in itself. Until one looked further in, to see that neither the Janus nor Senators were in their places. Twistedecho and Skipstep, instead, were set to guard Peachstar and Glowstar respectively, each Janus standing too close for comfort to the leader they'd been assigned, and the Senators made a loose guard around them, in case any had any wise ideas. Behind them were the SunClan warriors, threaded throughout and around the ranks of SpringClan and DayClan, the SunClan warriors looking none too friendly.
Foxstar paused as they entered, briefly glancing back at the two leaders with a sharp toothed smile and a dangerous glint to her ivy eyes. "I expect you to behave yourself now." She purred, her voice low and calm, though the threatening tone could not be mistaken for a second. They would behave, whether they wanted to or not; she would ensure it.
Glowstar, leader of DayClan had been unusually close with Peachstar and actually nice to him. Although no one wanted to be that close to Glowstar. Sure she shared meals with him, but they were snakes that she'd gut open and eat the mice inside and look hurt if Peachstar didn't want to share such a meal with her. Then she'd ask him how his day was and she'd talk about how she went into SunClan's soothsayer den and murdered the soothsayer and how they'd be after them any second and only at the end of her conversation cared to mention it was just a weird dream she had. In short, Glowstar's kindness could easily age a cat and the fact that she was walking next to him in this gathering only meant problems for him.
Glowstar listened to Foxstar's announcement and winked at Foxstar in a I getchyah kind of way. Which almost only meant that she most certainly did not get what Foxstar was saying. Luckily for Peachstar she left his side looking back at Skipstep to follow her.

Dayclan
The newly named Flyingcolors was found not too far behind her leader, Glowstar. Even though her clan was under Sunclan's control and mercy, she would never consider herself a Sunclan cat. When it came to her duties as a medicine cat she truly was neutral and had even gone so far as to help the Sunclan soothsayers where she could offer it, even though she was not allowed to heal Sunclan cats, but by heart and loyalty she truly was a Dayclan cat born and bred. The unusual looking medicine cat held her blue merle head high, each of her differently colored eyes holding a damaged pride but she did not want other clans to see weakness in any of them.
Sunclan
Indigosight bristled slightly as they entered the gathering, led by his sister Yellowdelight. He didn't particularly enjoy having to babysit Springclan or Dayclan cats. Some would call it ironic as he was blind but he did not pay much attention to those cats either way.
Another band of creatures came from a different angle. Although she did not have the entirety of two clans intermingled through her mass of cats, she had a few prisoners. They were paraded like war tokens, beaten, bruised. Their mere presence there was a warning, the same warning that Foxstar issued to the clans that had been taken over by the brutal alliance. Behave, or face the wrath of one of the two leaders.
She looked over her shoulder to her acting Boyar, Cynder. "Find your way over to our allies with two or three others. It is your job to make the BrookClan presence known." The Tsar spoke this order rapidly and lowly, and was given only a nod in response before the grey feline padded in the direction. Of course, Kerrigan didn't really think this was necessary. Foxstar could take care of herself. Yet, this was just as much her doing as the SunClan leaders. Although BrookClan had been a little more... hands-off in the accomplishment of that leg of the forest domination, it was Kerrigan who had proposed the idea to Foxstar, citing their siege of EarthClan as a reason for the two to join forces. NightClan's participation in the plot was also Kerrigan's doing- blackmail was a funny thing, and it made her alliance with Burningstar just that much more interesting. Together, the three clans had managed to conquer two groups already. Of course, the Regime had been a bit more challenging than Kerrigan had expected. She blamed that, in part, due to the fact that half of her felines had still been busy with EarthClan. Either way, the BrookClan Tsar planned on parading the alliances victories like her own. They were, in her mind, her own.
She then made her way to where the leaders would sit. She was unsure if Foxstar intended to let Peachstar or Glowstar join them, or if she was even allowing the felines to go by their real names. It had been three days since the last time the two spoke personally, and, as everyone knows, a lot could change in three days.
Cynder made her way over to the SunClan cats, noticing Glowstar immediately. She looked just as unphased as ever, the same way that Kerrigan had told her to expect she would look. It was very strange to her. Did the cat not realize the gravity of the circumstance? She shook her head, before looking back to the BrookClan cats that had followed her. "Intermingle," she ordered in a single word, before strolling the rest of the distance.
"Good evening, Foxstar, SunClan," she meowed to her allies with a smile. She then turned to the felines she was more interested in, the ones she was on order to be interested in. "And, of course, good evening prisoners," she meowed, sounding strangely particular and formal for her nature. Kerrigan had given her strict instructions of how to act. She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, really, but her gaze rested on Flyingcolors.

WINTERCLAN
Late to the party but not the last to arrive Leatherstar lead WinterClan into the growing gaggle of cats. The clans had all suffered and changed in their own way over the beginning moons of leaf fall and now leaf bare. Yet WinterClan had changed significantly with the addition and subtractions of traditions, customs, and ranks. Even the Ancients renamed them by their wisdom. The large brown chief followed his thanes and novices as they joined the other cats. Wonder in his emerald gaze.
Peachstar watched Glowstar leave his side, looking a little more worse for wear than usual. "What's the probability it's Glowstar who ends up getting us all killed?" he said, peering over his shoulder to address his brother. He looked across the crowd to try and find Thane, to no avail. Perhaps the tom would show up later - at least, that's what he was counting on.
Lemonburst merely shrugged. "A solid seventy percent, I would say," he remarked, raising an eyebrow. "But that's your problem, not mine."
Peachstar flicked an ear in reply. "Of course," he muttered, rolling his eyes. "Sit down, and try not to annoy any SunClan warriors into making an example of you right here, alright?"
[ winter ]
Egretcry followed slightly behind Leatherstar, noting the battered appearnace of the SpringClan and DayClan members. "Can we not just have, a month?" he muttered, before taking his place and making sure to stay the hell away from any of them.
Skipstep sighed as Glowstar wandered off and he followed after her glancing towards Jetclaw and Littlebird relieved to see his sister moving to stand by Littlebird once Foxstar allowed them to move about.
Jetclaw sighed at the prisoners antics but she didn't move away from Littlebird, with Skipstep busy with Glowstar she had to keep an eye on his mate and her sister in law.
NightClan
Burningstar led NightClan to the gathering her head held high. All in all she was rather pleased with NightClan's victory over SpringClan. Though it was soured a little when she saw the SpringClan cats and DayClan cats in SunClan's ranks. She was not fond of that matter of the arrangement. But there was little she could say.
She spotted Glowstar and did feel a twinge bad though that her friend was stuck under Foxstar's paw... again. But the DayClan leader didn't seem too bothered with it, looking to be heading off to probably cause some mischief.
Burningstar waved her tail to allow NightClan to disperse and interact with whomever. She had brought Lindon as well glancing towards him, growing in the habit of doing so, liking to make sure she was aware where her mate was. Not as much to see what he was finding out, but more... just making sure he was okay. Overall she was quite happy being with him, and she actually wanted to introduce Glowstar... but then all this happened and she doubted her friend would be interested.
Frozenfire's tail was held high as she looked over at the SpringClan and DayClan cats, the light gray she cat radiating smugness. Proud of the victory they'd gotten from the SpringClan cats. She did wish it was NightClan rather than SunClan whom had added the SpringClan cats to their ranks, but she could understand Burningstar wanting to avoid the extra mouths to feed on their territory.
"Hello Leatherstar," Glowstar said, popping out of nowhere behind the guy, "My names Shiningfuture cause I give cats great futures. Do you have time to hear about our lord and savior Sun God? Cause if you don't you'll be damned to um... I don't know the dark side of the moon. You seem like a pretty smart fellow so I'm just going to continue on despite you clearly wanting to get away from me cause us SunClan cats pride ourselves on feeling we're better than others, because we are."
WINTERCLAN
Mistyveil slowly back away the moment she saw Glowstar mouthing, Sorry, to Leatherstar for totally abandoning him to this crazy person.
Barrenfrost watched Glowstar and licked at his paw, he wasn't Leatherstar's shard so it felt wrong to step in. He half wondered if a cat like this approached Leatherstar about the deities in WinterClan and that's how they came to be. But considering Barrenfrost considered himself a God, it wasn't hard to see why he passively ignored the conversation.

SunClan Littlebird stood proudly at Foxstar's side, as they lead in their group of warriors and captives. While she wasn't sure how she felt about all the recent developments, one thing was for certain. These victories were bringing her one step closer to her goals. She was now heavily pregnant, leaving no doubt to any that looked upon her about her condition. She stood tall, her head held high. No longer the scared young apprentice that had never attended a gathering before. Her eyes landed upon Mistyveil and Barrenfrost, and a little smile flickered. She broke off from the rest of her group, her mate by her side "a wonderful evening for a gathering" she announced to the pair of cats as she approached. The perfect picture of grace and dignity.
When his mate came over Skipstep shifted so he stood closer to her while still staying near enough to Glowstar to claim he was watching her. Jetclaw staying at Littlebird's other side, the tan and black she cat looking unimpressed at the winterclan cats.
WinterClan
Crimsonrose huffed bemused by Glowstar's presence as the she cat shifted to stand by Leatherstar. Faithful as always. She was bemused by the DayClan leader. "So you got your tail handed to you by SunCult? Fun," The ginger she cat rasped. "How's the life there?"
Mistyveil let out a delighted mew at the sight of Littlebird, "Hello Littlebird," She said, unable to not gaze at Littlebird's stomach, "When you have kits, maybe you can give me some parenting tips," Mistyveil said, despite already having thirteen kits already, one of which was already grownup. Mistyveil maybe assumed as being the best parent having to work as a medicine cat with thirteen kits because she didn't realize that someday she'd be the only cat in the clan who knew how to heal. Plus she was a prisoner when she had her kits, she didn't give birth to kits and assume she'd have to actually raise them. They were taken from her, she'd get more prey, everything worked out. Now she had to actually work and raise kits.
DAYCLAN/ CAPTIVE
Glowstar's eyes brightened as she erupted into a fit of laughter, "You're the best cat in WinterClan! SunCult is exactly what I've been saying. Nah, it's kind of fun. Foxstar's still like a sister to me, I know she wouldn't want me talking about in detail how great their territory is, but it's nice there especially for leafbare. I've considered escaping, but snows already fallen and DayClan is likely buried in four fox lengths of snow given how flat the land is," She paused for a moment looking at Crimsonrose and then to Leatherstar, "Actually, you WinterClan cats could probably get more use out of it then DayClan ever could around this time. You're genetically more adapt for such freezing temperatures. If you want you're welcome to hunt on DayClan territory for the duration of leafbare or as you call it, winter."
Jetclaw and Skipstep exchanged surprised looks. They'd thought WinterClan cats were all rude to Littlebird, and here was this she cat asking for parenting advice.
"Well... I don't know if we'll have much to give, we'll be new parents." Skipstep offered Mistyveil. "But they'll grow up to be wonderful just like their mother," He meowed pressing up against Littlebird giving her a gentle lick.
WinterClan
Crimsonrose's whiskers twitched. "I might think about it," She mused and glanced at Leatherstar, "And I'm sure that territory could be useful in more ways than one for us," She added nudging Leatherstar. After all it was a whole lot closer to seeing Littlebird, and probably his other flings that he had in the forest clans. And if he hadn't... well maybe he could set his sights to there. Expand his bloodline all over the place. Seemed to be what the likes of Vera E'tani and Tsar Kerrigan were doing. As she had noted league cats in BrookClan and a BrookClan cat standing awfully close to the NightClan leader. "And it helps when you like fighting, you're not afraid of saying things how they are. Perks of being former league, any tips for a fellow deserter?" She asked, "You seem to be having fun."
Frostcloud headed the ranks of SummerClan as they came into the clearing. In spite of being leader of the Clan for the last several moons after Angelstar had stepped down, the she-cat had yet to go through her lives ceremony and had not received her name or lives, even though there were a couple of leaders at the gathering that had been made leader after she had. Her amber eyes swept around the clearing and immediately picked up on how DayClan and SpringClan members were being guarded by SunClan cats. She signaled to the rest of the clan that they could disperse and converse with whomever they felt like. Speaking briefly to a small dark ginger tabby she-cat the two quickly split up and Frostcloud looked around to see who she recognized and could talk to.
The ginger she-cat, who went by a few different names, but was currently going by Embercloud, went off in the opposite direction that Frostcloud did and meandered her way through the gathered cats, listening in on conversations here and there and seeing what information she could pick up.

Foxstar turned her head to give Cynder a not of acknowledgement at her presence, but did little else, simply eyeing Glowstar and shaking her head ever so slightly as she made her way to Kerrigan. Ultimately, the Priestess was rather disappointed with BrookClan. The Tsar had approached her with the idea, and yet had failed in their own battle. It was rather... disappointing. She'd expected more from the clan. But then again, that's what she got for trusting others to do the work for her. At least Burningstar had managed well enough, it seemed.
"Greetings." The feline offered the Tsar, a faint smile playing at her lips. Failure or not, this gathering was certain to be rather interesting if nothing else, and that alone made this all worthwhile. She liked stirring up drama in front of the other clans, after all. Just a few seasons ago and she'd come to the gathering after having kidnapped, and subsequently killed Glowstar, only for the leader to make a dramatic return. Tonight she came with the same feline in her custody.
Emberstar's hazel eyes swept the Gathering-place as he led the procession of his Clanmates, trying to make sense of the sights before him. Though he'd heard snippets of what had happened, this was his first time seeing the true effects of it. He didn't know Peachstar well enough to like him, and he certainly didn't trust Glowstar, but her company had always been enjoyable if nothing else. The small tabby tomcat definitely did not like to see Clans trying to take over each other. "Good evening," he greeted the other leaders rather dryly.
Fireflydream was close behind her father, craning her neck and standing on the tips of her toes to try and see what was going on.

SunClan Foxstar turned to flash a grin at Emberstar as he arrived, her expression equal parts welcoming and dangerous as she did so. Her brother-in-law seemed rather out of sorts today, and she figured she knew why. "Ah, Emberstar. How are you? You seem a little upset." She purred.
This was the first gathering Inferiorchoice had been allowed to attend. It wasn't that she hadn't necessarily wanted to go. More so that Foxstar didn't trust her to not flee. Even now she had a follower in Zendikdominance, staying close by in case she tried to run. It was funny, really. The High Priestess' daughter was treated more like the captive leaders than a member of SunClan. All the same, she chose to do a very unusual thing for a SunClan cat and interact with the other clans. By chance it was Fireflydream, her cousin, who she first ran into. She'd heard about her uncle, Emberstar, from Condorstrike, but the patched tabby had never met his kits before. Glancing at Foxstar with an expression of distaste, the warrior turned then, to the WaterClan warrior, a hesitant smile on her features. "Hello." She greeted simply, eyeing the she-cat with caution.
"Is that how it works? If the mom is wonderful their kits will be too? Ugh, this sucks, I murdered my mom, it's only a matter of time before one of them takes a swing at me," Mistyveil muttered in disappointment.
DAYCLAN/ CAPTIVE "Tips," Glowstar wondered, "I don't think I can explain it, but well, at my level in the league killing became easy. I know cats who have spent their whole lives to try to get to a Primal Instincts Deacon level so they can be a professional killer, but to me easy's boring. People are so predictable when assassinating them so at some point I made the process longer and it was... Beautiful. I heard their screams like songs and some songs were more of a whisper than others. The cowards I caught were always the bravest and the beautiful were always the ugliest inside. It was so revealing. Everyone had a song of pain that I could listen to for hours and sometimes I did. I'd say my best tip is that you can't control anything except yourself and once you realize you have no control only then can you be free to enjoy the chaos around you."
WATERCLAN "Hey Emberstar, can we bring my mom home? Like Glowstars clans captured and she was a WaterClan member anyways so it's not like she doesn't know how to swim or fish. Also Foxstar used me as a cat shield against my brother," Leucisticcrow said, "But I mean no hard feelings to her about that last one, like he is pretty out of control. I'd have done the same to her."
Skipstep edged closer to Littlebird. "Well... I suppose it depends sometimes." He said. "But Littlebird will be a good mother, I'm certain of it." He said a bit unnerved by Mistyveil's admittance.
"Did your mother deserve it?" Jetclaw queried earning a look from Skipstep and the she cat shrugged in response to her brothers unasked question.
NightClan Burningstar went over to Frostcloud, "Froststar! It is Froststar now right?" Burningstar asked falling into step beside the SummerClan leader. She could see Glowstar busy talking to the WinterClan leader and a massive scarred ginger she cat so she figured she'd speak to the other leader she was friendly with.
Winte Crimsonrose's whiskers twitched. "I can understand that, I don't think I reached my peak persay, but in the league I just felt... like one of many. Like there was nowhere for me to grow you know what I mean?" She asked licking her paw. "I mean I was training Leatherstar, and I had far more enjoyment than I did working with the league. I liked the restrictions put on me, can't just slay your opponents, gotta beat them into submission, force them into surrendering. Feel their claws as they fight each movement like a personally choreographed dance to avoid death or defeat." The ginger she cat swooned a little. "I'll admit I've always been the one to prefer a fight, and battle over killing and torture. But I can appreciate another cats craft." Crimsonrose meowed dipping her head to Glowstar. "I'd love to hear some of the experiences you've had, perhaps if we come into DayClan territory we can have a chat over some prey?" Her whiskers twitched. "Maybe even a spar, I'd love a chance to see what you're capable of." Then she let out a sigh "Though it'd have to be a battle to surrender, I can't afford to leave LEatherstar without me. The gods only know what he'd do without me," She glanced at him with her whiskers twitching.
It was amusing she hadn't had much interactions wiht Glowstar before but she brought out the old, spark Crimsonrose had been missing. She could feel the call for battle again. She loved raising Mysterykit and was preparing to train an actual novice in Silverpaw soon. But oh how she missed the exchange of blows, the thunder of hearts pounding, and hisses and screeches.
"I'm hardly upset. Perhaps a little disturbed," Emberstar replied with a hint of an edge to his tone. "Out of curiosity, what possessed you to go and take over DayClan and SpringClan?"
Fireflydream offered her cousin a shy smile. "Hi," she murmured. "My name's Fireflydream. What's yours?" she asked, summoning the world's easiest conversation starter.

Sun "I'm just so generous, I'd thought I'd force... I mean invite them to stay on our territory for a while. I don't see the harm in that, do you? They're comfortable enough, and well fed, so any concern of yours is unwarranted. This will be an enlightening experience for them, I'm sure." Of course, any comment of Foxstar's had to be taken in the worst way possible, generally. There was always a motive behind her actions, and something about the way she said 'enlightening' seemed to drain the area of what little warmth it contained. What Condorstrike had seen in this Priestess, to be convinced to leave his brother for SunClan, no one could say. Maybe it was her beauty, because little else made sense given Foxstar's attitude.
"Inferiorchoice. You can thank my mother, Foxstar, for that one." She smiled bitterly, clearly seeming less than pleased with the cat whom she was, unfortunately, biologically related to. "Condorstrike hasn't managed to convince her to change it to something nicer, so I think I'm stuck with it."
