Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I didn't expect to ever see you again, ol' chap!" she meowed as she padded up to the tom, offering him a wide grin. "How's life been treatin' ya? As good as always, I hope," she continued with a blink of her big blue eyes. What she didn't know was, no, his life wasn't doing all that great, and that the only reason the stars had moved so that they would meet again was because his mate was dead, and that he'd probably rather he'd never came close to the ball of chaos.
Defiant perked an ear as Gossamer Alessandra approached him with all the social graces of a speeding bulldozer. "The feeling is mutual," he murmured, giving Kuini a comforting stroke on the head with his tail as he felt her tiny body press against him in fear. Sorry, kiddos. "Actually, I was hoping you could help me out in regards to our, um, life situation."
Koa wasn't as shy as his sister, or as polite as his father. "Can we crash with you for a bit?" he piped up, giving the unfamiliar she-cat what he liked to call his ladykiller smile.

Amusement flashed in her eyes as the kitten spoke. Although she probably would have enterained the idea of letting Defiant stay just because she knew him, she was absolutely enamored by the gall of the young one. She demonstrated this by her wide grin at him, and the fact that she ruffled his head fur with her paw. "Of course, lil dude," she purred, "s'long as you call me Aunt Gossamer." She offered him a wink, before glancing back at his dad. "Life situation as in more than just needing a place to stay for a few nights, or?"
Koa beamed. "Sure thing, Aunt Gossamer!" he said, always eager to please. He shot Kuini a triumphant look, sticking his tongue out when he didn't think the adults were looking.
Defiant breathed out a heavy sigh. "More than just a few nights..." he muttered sheepishly, his gaze trailing down to the forest floor. "I know it's a lot to ask, but I'll work whatever job you need if it keeps these two with a roof over their head and cats to make friends with."

She smiled at the kitten again, he was just so cute and she just wanted to squish him, before her attention redirected. "It isn't anything to ask of me at all," she meowed with a tilt of her head. "It's nothing to help an old friend." Were they friends? Well, she thought he was her friend and if he didn't think the same way, well, that was his problem. "We can talk jobs when we get you all settled, but for now, we're more than happy to accomodate whatever you need." There was a strange amount of concern in the normally casual she-cats eyes. "Is it... just the three of you?" A little uncomfortable, she didn't want to ask it, but the question would provide necessary information on just what sorts of accommodations they would need.
Defiant looked up in surprise for a few moments, before coughing lightly and untangling Kuini's body from his legs. "Yeah, just the three of us," he said, a little too blunt, too brusque to be natural. "Kuini, why don't you say hello to Gossamer Aless - um, Aunt Gossamer?" he suggested, eager to change the subject.
Kuini gave Goss a slow, languid blink, before nodding ever so slightly and retreating back behind her father.
Defiant's eye twitched. "So sorry," he murmured to Goss under his breath.
"I won't hurt you, baby," she meowed in her kindest voice possible. She offered the little girl another smile, although there was a part of her that just wanted to ask more questions about what had happened to the other. Had it really been that long since she seen Defiant that she... missed his girlfriend's death? She blinked, her attention turning back to him. "Oh, no worries at all. You know how kids are these days," she meowed with a little bit of a laugh, although she, in fact, did not know how kids were. She'd never even been around them much before, even though she just wanted to give each one big squeezes. "Let's get you folks down into the tunnels at least. I have to warn you, its a lil bit gross and .dark and dirty down there, but it's modest living." She then moved to the nearest entrance to the tunnel, her head never losing its slight tilt.
As she moved towards the cave system, she looked at the tom kit, the one who seemed more interested in talking to her. "Do you two eat big cats food yet? Have you tried your first mouse?" She figured they probably had, they dind't look completely starving, but again, important information.
Defiant opened his mouth to answer Gossamer's question, but Koa beat him to the punch. "I've had rabbit before! I even caught it myself!" he chirped. Behind him, Defiant shook his head and pointed a paw at himself, mouthing just let him think that.

Gossamer frowned slightly at the she-kitten, looking a bit pained at the fact the kitten thought that she would hurt her. "You're too cute to hurt, baby," she meowed sadly, before turning to the other kitten. He seemed so proud of the fact that he had eaten a rabbit that even though his dad didn't seem to be so convinced at how he acquired it, she couldn't help but smile. "Wow!" she meowed with a big smile. "You're going to shape to be just the lil scout if you already know how to get a rabbit!" She then turned to the tunnel entrance, motioning that they would go in. "It's a lil dark down ehre, I can't quite help that. If you're afraid fo the dark, well, we will get to Post Echo soon."
Koa blinked in rapid succession. "D-dark, you say?" he stammered, suddenly looking a lot more cautious than he did only seconds prior. "It'll be - it's really - it's - whatever, man."
"I forgot to say," Defiant murmured, looking vaguely amused, "to not bring up the dark."
Kuini gave her brother a long-suffering glare. "Post Echo?" she echoed under her breath, almost to herself. "Sounds like a cult."

Oh, oh no. The kid was afraid of the dark. That was a red flag, especially when she was about to plummet all of them in the dark. Yikes! "Only for- for a little bit!" she meowed quickly.
At least only one of them seemed bothered, though, albeit not the one she expected. She grinned at the she-kit. "Yeah, to be honest, it kind of is. They all worship a blind guy who's been dead for like 150 million years, and they must be pious and work hard for his gratitide or something I don't really know all the details.
"Watch your step," she then meowed as she entered the tunnel, moving on from her pass at Kuini.
