[attr="class","box2"]Those mouse-brained, fox-hearted, rule-breaking toms had really managed to do it this time. Jetkit shook her head as the rowdy tom tumbled over the broken nest in the nursery that they had managed to completly destroy in their fight. Didn't they realize how much work went into those nests? Now the warriors would have to come in and fix it instead of being out in the territory hunting and patroling. She had tried to warn them, but they always just ignored her, or worse made fun of her.
She turned her back on them with a sigh, padded quietly out of den without another word. Despite all her anger, she hid it well. Trying not to let it bubbled past her calm exterior. She picked up a small mouse, blue eyes flickering back and forth to find someone to share her meal with.
Satinkit had found a sunny patch the lounge in, and was meticulously grooming her long downy fur when she noticed movement from her peripheral. Flicking her blue gaze to the nursery, she was froze mid lick only for a moment before recognizing her sister glancing around the camp.
"Hey Jetkit!, over here!" she called, she could already tell from the set expression on her litter mate's face that something was bothering her... protective anger flared under Satinkit's skin at the thought. If those kits were picking on her sister again they were going to get it. She shifted over making space next to her for her sister to accompany her in the sun. She would wait before she confronted their den mates.

[attr="class","box2"]Jetkit nodded, making her way over to where her sister was lying in the sun. At least it was a beautiful day and she could stay away from the annoying toms. With a sigh she nosed the mouse she had picked out from the pile towards her sister so that they could share. It was to much for just her to eat, taking after their mother and he small size.
"Those mouse-brains are at it again" she grumbled, opening up to her sister. It wasn't the first time that they had caused her trouble, and she knew that it more than likely wouldn't be the last. "They tore up their nest after the warriors just fixed it. Don't they realize that the warriors have better things to do than cleaning up after them?" she wrinkled her nose in disgust before finally taking her first bite of the mouse. It tasted dull and bland in her mouth, but that was probably just because of the mood she was in.
There mom had left them in the care of Summersolstice while she was doing her duties as the High Priestess, which meant she had to spend time in the nursery with those no good, rotten, rule breaking cats. They always managed to get under her skin, not matter how hard she tried to ignore them. "They're toms they hardly think of anything at all." Satin purred in amusement trying to soothe her distraught litter mate. "I'm sure Summersolstice or Bloodyrondo will straighten them out once they notice the mess they've made." She leaned over and licked the gray tabby between the ears. "It's too nice of a day to waste being mad at a bunch of mouse-brains anyway." If anything Satin was glad for her morally righteous sister, most other litter mates would suggest sneaking out to explore at this point but she knew Jetkit wouldn't go for it, and she herself didn't want to ruin her pristine fur. Perhaps they could find something to do in camp?

[attr="class","box2"]"I know, I know" she grumbled glancing back at the nursery when a loud yowl reached her ears. "I would just let it go, but you know they are just going to blame it on me, they always do" she took another bite, this time a little more aggresivley "That or mock me for wanting nothing to do with their antics" with a sigh she looked away shaking her head. It wasn't her problem. At least it shouldn't be. Let them get in trouble, but that only seemed to encourage them. The more trouble they got into the worse they became.
"Please tell me your up for doing something, anything. I need a distraction" she pleaded, her blue eyes sparkling [newclass=.box2]margin:0px auto; width:300px; height:425px; background: transparent; overflow:auto; padding:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background: #772929;[/newclass]
"They can't blame you, if you were with me the whole time. They're stupid and not worth your time, they only tease you because you give the satisfaction of a reaction. If you ignored them they wouldn't have as much fun." Satinkit's eyes clicked to the nursery, wondering what on earth they could be doing that would cause such a ruckus but, her curiosity was soon lost when Jetkit asked the question. Her blue eyes met her sister's sparkling ones. "Like what...?" she asked warily, something about the look in her sister's eyes told her she wouldn't like the answer but, she would begrudgingly go along with it, if only to make her feel better.

[attr="class","box2"Jetkit sighed knowing that her sister was right, but she couldn't help it. They just managed to get under her skin so easily. "Well I was thinking that we could help mom out. She has been working so hard to get ready to tie the knot with dad" she mused trying to figure out someway to help out their parents.
"What if we made some flower wreathes to decorate with? I'm sure she would love it and the warriors have been going out and getting flowers to bring back to camp all day long. It shouldn't be hard. I'm sure she will want us all to look our best. That way she won't have to worry" [newclass=.box2]margin:0px auto; width:300px; height:425px; background: transparent; overflow:auto; padding:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background: #772929;[/newclass]
Satinkit visibly brightened nodding as her sister spoke. "Oooh!! yes!!" The fluffy kit was already on her paws kneading the ground with excitement. The whole ordeal of her parents wedding was already so fascinating to her that the idea of decorating the camp for the occasion had her nearly over the moon with excitement. "We have to make it absolutely perfect!" She was already hurrying over to one of the piles of delicately placed flowers that the warriors had been bringing in for the ceremony, gingerly sorting through them trying to find only the best flowers to weave into wreaths.

[attr="class","box2"]"I think we should use roses and sunflowers" she purred, picking out the brightly colored flowers that she thought her mother and father would enjoy. "The red roses mean love and sunflowers for life!" she grinned remembering the lessons that her mother had been teaching them. Sunflowers held a high importance in SunClan and she thought that the red of the roses would look great with them.
"I wonder if momma will help us with out paint? Or maybe aunt Summersolstice? Oh wait she is going to be with momma getting ready" she thought aloud as she began arranging the flowers on some of the barren wreaths that had been constructed by some of the older She wove the stems of the flowers into hte sturdy wood so that they would stay in place as the wreathes were moved [newclass=.box2]margin:0px auto; width:300px; height:425px; background: transparent; overflow:auto; padding:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box2::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background: #772929;[/newclass]
Satinkit had nearly forgotten about the paint, and gasped audibly when Jetkit reminded her, dropping the sunflower she had been holding. Usually she hated the thought of putting anything in her fur but, this was different. "I forgot about that!" she shook her head quickly reminding herself that she should be focusing on the task she'd already started but the wheels in her head were already turning focusing on a different matter, which resulted in her working even slower than she already way as she picked out the nicer roses and sunflowers to hand to her sister. "Maybe we can practice and do each others?" she offered after a moment of silence.

[attr="class","box2"]"Thats a good idea, we can even get some pointers. We just have to make sure we do a good job and make her proud! I don't want her to have to worry about anything but dad on that day" she purred. She was really excited that her mom was bringing back an old tradition
"Can you help pull on this vine?" she asked indicating a vine that she had poked through the wood but couldn't quiet pull through without displacing the flower she was holding. "I think we should make mom and dad a gift from us to, I just don't know what yet. I mean she is the high priestess and he is a janus. They have everything..."
