Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Elleth's nose wrinkled at the putrid stench of death. It smelled sour, like the beginnings of decay, and yet the mouse that laid dead right in the middle of the path in front of her, though obviously having died of some awful illness given its sick frame, had not even started to decay. This wasn't the first piece of prey she'd found like this, and it had become as distasteful as it had become unnerving. It had happened more than once where she'd even caught prey that gave off the sickening smell. It was disgusting, but with little else of a choice the hunter kicked the animals corpse out of the way before continuing forward with her hunting, hoping to actually come across something edible.

"It's getting worse, isn't it?"
An analytical voice drifted towards Elleth, belonging to a feline who couldn't be mistaken for anyone else. Her trademark bengal markings collaborated with the labyrinthine pattern of the forest to create a weaving illusion of shadows as she moved. Her steps commanded respect and her depthless chartreuse gaze, authority. The Nemesis sauntered forth, a grim expression upon her beautiful facial features. More and more, Vera E'tani could be found out and about, and on her own.
She paused next to the discarded prey, her eyes casting down upon its decaying corpse.

Elleth hesitated. With any other cat she would have quickly tossed a few sarcastic words hinted with some witty but slightly - at least in her mind - insightful commentary, but at the moment she recognized the voice of the Nemesis she reconsidered any of the sharper words that had already started playing at her tongue. She was smart enough to play a more respectful role around the golden bengal, and so she chose her words a bit more carefully.
"Seems like it I'm afraid." She answered, allowing a bit more somberness to touch her voice than she would usually allow. She never liked truly having to embrace the badness of a particular situation, she avoided the harsh realities with joking and mockery as much as possible. But seeing that it stirred even their malevolent overlord, she found herself taking the situation a tinge more seriously.
