Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Reaper awaited her apprentice- a funny term really, since the two were of similar ages- outside the borders of Moonclan camp. They were of similar skill levels in terms of their 'sixth sense', and Leviathan called it, but Reaper had been with the leader longer, so she had been chosen as Illusionist. However, she figured that the two of them should spend time practicing with herbal remedies, at the very least. An alliance between them would only strengthen the clan.
The two of them were very different in appearance. Reaper was small, with bright yellow eyes and pitch black fur, looking much like the shadows she communed with. Her trainee had bright blue eyes and stark white fur, more like the ghosts she spoke with. Differing strengths were good, as well. So Reaper waited, cloaked in the light of the full moon, her tail draped neatly over her paws.

Her new name was Yuki. Her friends could add the -Oona, but no one had thus far. Made things easier. At first, it was so hard to respond to the name. But she has slowly gotten more accustomed to it. It was funny to go from frolicking in the flowers in the bright day to stalking the nights for poisons and ghosts. Now her curse was a gift. A valued trait. She hadn't been able to call it that yet, but every day she got a little closer.
She joined the group after Reaper did, and was somehow chosen as the Acolyte to work underneath her. Her stark white pelt had stopped collecting burrs since getting to leave Summerclan. Light blue eyes were still getting used to the dark, but she'd learn. She knew a few things about herbs, but not enough for what they were called for. Yuki walked tall, a sort of dignity that didn't care about what she scared away and the like. Despite it, her steps were as silent as a ghost's, but she ruffled the grass some to let Reaper know she was coming. Not that she expected to sneak up on her anytime soon. "Hello Reaper." She met the other she-cat at the camp's entrance
"Evening, Yuki," Reaper dipped her head in greeting, standing and rolling out her shoulders. She was aware that Yuki had had a different name prior to joining, but it mattered little. Reaper had been raised Analise, but that was hardly a name for a contract killer. Cats changed, and their identities followed. It would be interesting to see how their identities changed in the coming moons, serving under Leviathan in a settled community.
"Shall we walk? I was told that there is an herb patch near here, and now is a good time to begin gathering." A full moon was a prosperous time, under the power and eye of Selene, and Reaper wanted to get a head start on any illnesses that may creep into the clan.

Yuki wasn't the curious sort. Not the kind to constantly be prying into business that wasn't her's. She had traveled a lot for being so young. From Winterclan to Summerclan and now here in Moonclan. Some things were better left hidden for now, and she was garbage at holding conversation anyway. So when Reaper offered the walk, Yuki agreed easily with a "Sure, sounds good." before starting to follow her. She was a bit nervous, not really sure how she was to learn all of this. Or really, how much Reaper knew. This was a whole new world, all she could do at the moment was trust her.
Reaper walked in silence, enjoying the nip of the cold breeze and the relative quiet of the night around them. It wasn't until they arrived at the mostly barren herb patch that she spoke again. "Tell me what you know about herbs." It was a request, though framed in her clipped, calculated tone as usual. She was genuinely curious- she knew the basics from her own travels, but she had half a mind to take a trip to another clan to speak to a Medicine Cat there to round out her training. Yuki could come if she wished, or she could stay and Reaper would return to teach her.

Yuki felt her paws shake, the familiar chill in the breeze taking her back to a lifetime ago. When she was still walking the mountains with Deja. When she hadn't been exiled. The grass under her feet brought her back. She shouldn't think about it too much. When they reached the patch, it pulled at her heart. Yuki was used to the rolling fields of herbs in Summerclan, and now there were none. When Reaper presented the question, she didn't even flinch at her clipped tone. "I know how to grow them and only a little bit about what they each do. Basic stuff, like chamomille helps with nerves, marigold is for infections." Well, guess she mostly knew flowers.
"I know about the same," Reaper said, her ear flicking back as she perused the rather pitiful collection of herbs that grew in the leafbare cold. "Though I was planning on traveling to different clans to learn from medicine cats there. It's a shame that no one in Selene's following is knowledgeable about medicine. You're welcome to travel with me, or stay here and tend to any wounds that may come up." Reaper knew little of Yuki's past and while Reaper held no attachments to clans, it might hurt Yuki to travel to specific clans.

Reaper had a point. Someone should stay around to make sure no one in the following got hurt. And the last two places she wanted to go was Summerclan or Winterclan. The recent travel there killed her. But there are so many white cats with blue eyes, she largely remained unnoticed. A paw traced along one of the dying herbs though. They'd need help, not in just learning about herbs but growing them too. She didn't like the idea of putting all that on Reaper's shoulders. "I'd like to travel with you for now. I spoke to some of the other following. They should at least be able to wrap up wounds while we're gone."
