Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Foxbane had been dragging her along by the scruff back to SunClan with a sudden need to improve Pandora's life. Just because Foxbane was on a quest to right her wrongs didn't mean that she wanted to right her wrongs. Glowstar fell into step along side Foxbane her cautious expression casting concern, "We lost the right to call ourselves her mom when I left for her entire childhood and you paid her no mind. If she tells me to go away, I will. But Foxbane, we were given this kit unannounced when we were both going through a difficult time in our lives. None of us asked for her, so don't blame yourself for not doing better. If I could go back in time I would steal her from you and send her to another clan where she would have been loved."
She nuzzled into Foxbane's neck comfortingly, her head moving Fox's chin up as she pulled away to look at her. Her emerald gaze feather light as she smiled softly with a faint bit of laughter, "I can't explain it, but you look so different."

Foxbane had steadily been better since talking with Glowstar. She no longer looked gaunt to the point of illness, and her white paint stained her fur and one side of her face in chaotic blizzard swirls, and she no longer looked quite so downtrodden. Her determination had returned, along with some of the sass and mischief. It did, however, lack a certain vindictive bitterness that had tainted her past. If she was going to cause trouble from now on, she would do it because she liked it, not because she needed some complex plan of vengeance to appeased a broken soul.
But, chaos wasn't on the agenda today. She did, after all, have a lot of things to make up for, and whether or not she she-cat beside her really wanted to be involved, this was something she couldn't fix alone, it was both their faults, on varying levels. After all, ignoring this one had nearly caused their destruction in an apocalypse, it was probably fair to say they should at least try. "Well, I haven't seen anyone else step up to be a decent parent. We're the reason she went on a killing spree that she tried so hard to prevent in the first place, which isn't really fair to ask of a kit, but the Sun God doesn't seem to care to take advice from us. Just because we didn't ask for her, doesn't mean we should just conveniently continue to ignore her. Maybe we don't have a right to call ourselves her parents when we clearly didn't raise her, but we do owe it to her to try. I can't change the past, and I probably wouldn't, because then I wouldn't have this, now, but the future isn't so certain." If anyone who didn't really know Foxbane had her say this, they'd think she was insane. The evil leader she'd been, turned to this? Someone who genuinely cared? She wasn't perfect, and she wasn't going to ever claim otherwise, or even try to be. But she wasn't just going to let old pain stick around because she was too scared to face it. There were those she'd wronged to the point things could never be forgiven, she knew that. Yet, she could at least give them the courtesy of recognizing what she'd done.
The Senator leaned into the leader's touch, a flicker of a dangerous smile gracing her lips. If things weren't so serious, she might consider doing something fun, but maybe later. For now, they had a job to do. All the same, she offered a soft laugh, her up-tilted chin exposing the old scars across her throat. "Is it the fact I don't look like skin and bones, or am I just that cute?" She knew full well that wasn't what Glowstar was talking about, and that knowledge flickered across her gaze. She just couldn't help the comment. Foxbane really had missed this, being able to be so easy with Glowstar, and now, more than ever, she didn't feel the need to hold back. No matter how much it made her heart flutter, her mind warn her it could all end in ruin.
Glowstar rolled her eyes at Foxbane's reply, she really didn't see it. Pandora didn't go on a killing spree because of them, it was because the Sun God made her to do just that. Maybe Foxbane really did look at the Sun God as someone meant to be righteous, a provider, savior, someone who tried his best for his followers. But to her he was a straight up psychopath who blessed the world with chaos. She had loved him because he was egotistic, imperfect, and often times immature. Although it would be nice if the Sun God could turn into a regular cat and they could just spar for a while so she could get out her anger that he cursed Deal.
Her ears perked up, cute, she looked surprised at Foxbane's forwardness, "No, that's absolutely what is different about you," she smiled the more she thought about it, "You used to looked gorgeous, but almost like a siren, like there was a danger about you. There was no give away, it was just a sense you couldn't shake off of yourself that cautious cats could pick up on. But that's all gone now. You look more you, so hot and seductive, while still maintaining an aura of Hi-I'm-A-Brainwashed-Cult-Member," Glowstar teased at the end with a playful jab at Foxbane's shoulder.
She could see SunClan's camp up ahead, how long had Foxbane crossed Pandora's path and not bonded with her? She supposed it made sense that Foxbane felt an urgency to resolve this issue, it was one she faced everyday. The more she walked the more she thought about Kaisra, if there was any kit she truly wronged it was her. If there was any grudge she still held to Foxbane, it was that. In another life she could have raised Kaisra and her siblings, but they would have known she was their aunt, yet still raise them as if they were her own. There wouldn't have been accidental lies and sudden heartbreak. By the time Pandora came her heart hadn't healed yet from that and still hadn't even now. It was interesting because she hadn't had this many grudges in a very long time, no one ever made her care enough to have one until recently.

Foxbane didn't want to try because she trusted the Sun God. No, she'd interacted with him all too much over the years, and really, she highly doubted he saw them much more than an amusing pastime that granted him some level of power, most of the time, if not always. Yes, the Sun God forced Pandora into this, but she'd also seen enough of the deity that she didn't really think it would have gotten to that point without their issues with each other. But that amounted to different views and experiences, and wasn't really important.
As for the boldness, she'd already told Glowstar she loved her, so a little comment like that didn't seem like so much. She chuckled at the description, however. "At least that makes you the type to get dragged into cults, so I'm not as alone here." The Senator mused. "Though I think I'd take chaos and freedom Glowstar over forced-to-be-a-cultist Strikhedoniadalisay any day." Though meaningful, the name was, indeed, a mouthful.
In recent times, her and Pandora had sort of a.. mutual avoidance of one another. Neither really wanted to see the other, and the rare times they had to tended to be awkward at best. Foxbane was slowly getting better with it, but still, she hadn't made it a point to bring anything up, which was her own fault. She probably could have addressed it without Glowstar, yes, but she did want Pandora to have both the parents she deserved, not just one.
"Haha, the word you're looking for is kidnapped," Glowstar corrected before blushing, "You do? I never knew that, I always thought you'd rather have me be a good girl cult member who wouldn't disobey and basically just follow your commands. That's really sweet," She smiled.
As they approached closer she couldn't help, but ask a question that had been on her mind for a while now, "So hey, before we walk over, about that time when we met in the snow. You meant love in like a, I love you for who you are kind of a way right? And not a like, I'm in love with you sort of a way, just checking?" Glowstar asked

"That's technically being dragged into a cult, but I guess it does sound a lot worse that way." She replied, nodding slightly. "And of course. Well, back then, I wanted you under my control, but I still wanted the chaos. I've realized now that you really aren't you without it all, and there's no such thing as taming you. Which is better anyway." Foxbane purred, touching her nose to the leader's ear.
Only to freeze when her next words came out. The fox-furred feline thought she'd been clear. But apparently, she had not been blunt enough, and she pulled back, ivy eyes searching Green's with a newfound hesitance. "I've always loved you for who you are, Glowstar," She began slowly, though the 'but' was clearly coming next, "buut, yes, that was said in an an I'm in love with you sort of way. I'm sorry, I didn't realize I wasn't clear, or I would've clarified already." She sounded a bit surprised, masking the internal hurt that she'd assumed Glowstar's reaction had been reciprocation of feelings.
Her forwardness suddenly seemed inappropriate, as did dragging the DayClan leader along to see their daughter, and now Foxbane wracked her brain to try and remember if Glowstar was in any relationships. She'd broken up with Deal, Darkcomplex and her were certainly not a thing anymore that she knew of, and yes, the Eerie seemed to have a thing for Funk, as they appeared to really like the same toms, but she hadn't been out enough to know if she'd maybe started dating Funk, or someone else. And she found she really didn't like the idea of Funk and Glowstar, especially if it had only happened after her apparently insufficient confession. Well, at least, she hated the idea if she couldn't be part of it, but she couldn't very well say that, could she?
“Not to be selfish, but I definitely would rather talk through this than talk to Pandora when we clearly have a lot to address,” Glowstar said weakly, feeling all of her energy leave her. If her entire face could turn red it would. How could she have missed something so obvious, especially with that look of surprise, she clearly thought she had been obvious so she probably was. If Foxbane’s love had been a claw she could have been struck 80 times and never known it. And now somehow they were going to talk to Pandora?
“Fox, I literally can’t do this, not knowing this now,” She felt herself slowly losing her ability to make any sense and that was for a big reason. There were so many things that needed to be said that now wouldn’t be appropriate to say because she was dating Funk. And there were a lot of things Foxbane should know about how she felt that sounded wrong now that she was dating Funk. Worst of all this wasn’t Foxbane’s bad timing this was just herself feeling that no one would like the real her to ever imagine Foxbane would like her in that way. “I literally feel like I’m dying, I can’t do this,” Glowstar said, “Wait, is this what anxiety feels like? Holy stars, it’s awful. It’s fine, you just go on over there and I’ll just,” Glowstar curled up into a ball, “Ride this out.”
Her eyes were still open though as she tried to sort her emotions, usually by sorting things one at a time, but that wasn’t working, everything she was feeling was just flooding into her at once. Probably because this was Foxbane and this really changed a lot of things if not everything. Maybe this was for the best, finding out this way. If she had known that’s what Foxbane had meant she may have just died in the snow from lying there in pure shock.
