A soft cackle escaped his lips. "Yes, yes, yes! In front of my eyes! Goby is very happy with his new prize!" The black and white resident found himself staring at a perfectly rotten, torn up human sock. "This will go nicely in Goby's bed. A gross, nasty sock for his head." He purred, dark and haunting. He grabbed the sock, not caring at all that it reeked. He had almost turned around to head back to his den full of stashed goodies before he suddenly remembered his stick and the herbs. "Oh, oh, can't forget those!" He chanted and snatched up the stick and herbs, dropping the sock as he did so. A few more tries later and he managed to grab all the items before turning to head back.
"Seems like quite a mouthful to carry back by yourself," a soft, dry voice floated from the shadows to Goby's left. A small black she-cat emerged from the alleyway that she had stopped to watch from, her daffodil-hued eyes locked on the strange tom. Reaper was passing through the city, and though she smelled the scent of the League on the tom, she didn't seem to mind. She could handle this cat if he attacked. A slight sense of curiosity had drawn her out of her hiding place, wanting to analyze this cat who spoke in third person and collected fragrant socks. "Are you adding it to a collection?"

Goby placed the herbs and sock on the ground, planting a paw on them soon after and giving the new cat a curious glance. "Ah, and who is this that has such an unfamiliar voice?" Goby snickered, tail sweeping back and forth along the ground like the pendulum of a clock. He glanced the she-cat over, wondering if he had ever seen her before. No, she seemed quite a stranger to the resident. His eyes flicked down to the sock and a half-smile crossed his maw. "Yes, my prized possession."
"Reaper," she said, her name cold and clipped in her mouth. She really was only passing through and didn't plan on staying, but it would only benefit her to know more about this region before she left again. "How large is your collection?" Her voice became more conversational, though not quite friendly. Reaper was bad at emoting, but her curiosity kept her from avoiding all social contact. "You're a part of Primal Instinct, I assume."

Goby eyed her up and down suspiciously when she asked about his collection. "Why do you want to know. They're mine." He repeated, eye twitching a little. "You are correct. I am from Primal Instinct. And you, random stranger named Reaper?"
