Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

racer / pLuto | here's the training thread for spiritedpaw and shadowedpaw Pra-- Waspcrush woke up as the sun began to set in the sky. It felt weird to not only get her name but two apprentices at once. Okay, that second was normal. But the fact she got them at all was strange. The longer she stayed, the more used she got to her new sleep schedule. Quietly snagging a leftover mouse from the fresh kill pile, she scarfed it down. The calico figured she needed to get the pair started as soon as possible, so she waited for them to awake.

SPIRITEDPAW
THE GULLIBLE - NIGHTCLAN APPRENTICE
Spiritedpaw wiggled his rump, as he stood in the shadows ready to pounce on his new mentor as she began to scarf down the mouse. She may have been older than him, but he was more used to the darkness. Picking his moment carefully, he lept towards he back with sheathed claws "GOTCHA" he called cheerfully

He was right, Waspcrush was pretty new. She had to get Umbrahound to teach her how to navigate through the darkness. And they only ran into each other through luck. Least she had it though. She was grateful he waited until she spat out one of the bones, cause she knew she would have choked on it. Being jumped on, Waspcrush fell forwards with a laugh. Holding back the instinct to roll over, she opted to shake her back a little to "buck" him off. "haha. well good. that's one lesson we get to skip, huh?"

SPIRITEDPAW
THE GULLIBLE - NIGHTCLAN APPRENTICE
Spiritedpaw laughed "come on that is at least two lessons. Stalking and pouncing" he teased playfully, holding his tail high in the air, it barely twitching.

"Really? I had higher expectations for you two. Figured the pair of you would knock those out." Waspcrush teased, slowly shifting so he could get used to the balance. Her lower back hurt some, but it was a good pounce. She hadn't even done much and was already proud.
Shadowedpaw stumbled out of the apprentice's den, tiredness still weighing him down. "Sorry I'm-," his words were cut short as he let out a yawn. "...sorry I'm late." He shook it off and gave his mentor and partner an apologetic smile. "It wont happen again. Promise!"

"It's okay, Shadowedpaw." Waspcrush was relieved to see her other apprentice show up, and she couldn't really blame him. Her first few weeks here at Nightclan were a pain, and she wasn't even an apprentice. Slowly, she stood up, giving Spiritedpaw a second to hop off before fully stretching. "We can take it easy today. If there's anywhere you want to see in the territory, now is a good day for it. And we'll end in the training grove where we can start your training. Though some of you are already getting it down." Waspcrush flashed a brief smile at Spiritedpaw, "Is there anywhere either of you would like to go?"

Spiritedpaw grinned, proud of the praise that his new mentor had given him. "I have already seen most of the territory, so how about you let Shadowedpaw choose?"
"Hey! What makes you think I havent seen the territory either?!" he blurted out quickly. Shadowedpaw looked between his training partner and their mentor and gave an apologetic smile. Truth be told, he didnt leave camp that often but he was familiar with some parts. "I mean, I dont have anywhere i want to go in particular," he mewed.

"Thats not what I meant at all" he gave a nervous laugh "I just meant that I have been an apprentice for longer, so it felt wrong to choose for you" it was true, the young cat would probably be made into a warrior in the next moon.

It hadn't clicked how close Spiritedpaw was to promotion till he talked about all the territory he'd seen. Waspcrush wouldn't have guessed from the way he acted. Her tail flicked behind her as she watched the two interact. "Now, now. You're partners. And you definitely don't need to be bickering the very first day." Her voice was warm, despite a faint edge on it. She ignored it with a smile, "We can always skip the sightseeing and I can start showing you how to navigate in the dark. Not that I'm any expert on it."
Shadowedpaw's eyes lit up as he exclaimed at the suggestion of learning more about night vision. Turning his attention to their mentor, he said, "You're our mentor! How could you not be an expert at something like that? Spiritedpaw, do you know how to do it?"

"I'm pretty new to Nightclan." Waspcrush admitted, a little embarrassed to actually say it. "So it's something I learned fairly recently. Used to always travel by sunlight if I could. Can't do that now, so it's best to learn." She perked back up, a toothy grin on her face, "It's more of learning how to use your other senses to make it through the dark and not bump into anything."

Spiritedpaw
NightClan Apprentice
The Lively
"Of course I know how to navigate in the dark. How else are you supposed to go on patrols" he replied tipping his head to the side in confusion. To him walking around in the dark was more natural than in the bright sunlight. They might as well have asked him if he knew his way out of the apprentice's den. What was up with this strange mentor? Wasn't that something that everyone learned as a kit. He blinked shaking his head "but shes right, its just about using your other senses. Like touch and hearing"
