Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
So I haven't read the book recently, however I have been thinking about them recently. Namely I have several questions and thoughts that might interest others here on the site.
1. How inbred were clan cats? Clearly with all the lore there are many, many generations of cats. However as we see in the first trilogy, outsiders & cross-clan relationships are discouraged. Yet at the same time the number of cats seem so small. At some point or another they all had to be related.
2. How big exactly were clan territories? With the different types of forests/terrains they had to be decently large enough to allow the change. Not to mention how many cats they had to support.
3. Where were the clans? I always for some reason felt they were in England. Though I have no clue why, I just do.
4. How come there were not tons of kittens all the time? Feral cats always seem to be having litters and cats really just reproduce fast.
5. Why are the medicines often real herbal medicines? I have taken several First Nations courses at my college and I have learned two different tribe's medicines. I noticed that a lot of them seem to appear in the warriors universe.
I would love to hear anyones own thoughts or additions to mine.

You're right! c: "According to an Erin Hunter chat, the territory was originally based on New Forest, a forest in the county of Hampshire in southern England, but as the ideas developed, it became more of a fantasy place and not the depiction of a real-world location." I always felt it was in England as well and was happy to have that confirmed xD

"It was revealed by Vicky that she used Culpeper's Herbal Remedies by Nicolas Culpeper to get the information for the herbs" One of the Hunters (arguably the head Hunter lol) used a natural remedy book, so it makes sense that you'd see the herbs and their uses elsewhere.
I once spent way, way to long going through all the Hunter Chats
